FAIRFAX STATION, VA, May 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tyler K. Buchholz has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Buchholz, a native of Fairfax Station in Northern Virginia, has established himself as a distinguished legal associate at Blank Rome LLP, where he has served since 2023. In this capacity, he has developed expertise in general corporate law and mergers and acquisitions, with particular emphasis on middle-market private equity and Employee Stock Ownership Plan transactions. His practice also encompasses significant work in the healthcare and cannabis industries. His role further extends to private equity fund formation, guiding clients through assembling funds that raise capital for company acquisitions while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, he advises on the regulation of registered funds, representing boards of trustees for various series trusts and directly supporting exchange-traded funds and mutual funds.
Prior to joining Blank Rome LLP, Mr. Buchholz gained valuable experience as a judicial intern at the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina in 2021. That same year, he served as a summer legal intern at Blue Ridge Legal Services, where he provided assistance to underserved communities and honed his commitment to public service.
During the preceding year, Mr. Buchholz was an advisor for the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation, following his earlier involvement as an intern from 2018 to 2020. In these roles, he supported the foundation's mission to honor individuals who exemplify courage and character both on and off the field. His professional journey began with the Potomac Nationals from 2015 to 2020 as ground staff, where he developed a strong work ethic and foundational skills that would later inform his legal career.
Educationally, Mr. Buchholz's background includes earning a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, District of Columbia, in 2023. He graduated with honors and also obtained a certificate in securities law during his studies. He contributed as a staff editor for the Catholic University Law Review during his studies. He is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia.
Previously, Mr. Buchholz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance with a concentration in European business from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, graduating in 2020. As part of his undergraduate education, he completed a semester abroad at the University of Antwerp in Belgium, broadening his global perspective on business practices.
Reflecting on his career, Mr. Buchholz attributes much of his success to the relationships he has cultivated with both formal mentors—such as preceptors and career development advisors assigned during his time at Blank Rome LLP—and informal mentors, including teachers, neighbors, family members and friends. These individuals have inspired him through their work ethic and guidance during pivotal moments in his career path. Recognizing the value of mentorship, Mr. Buchholz now supports aspiring legal professionals by advising students from James Madison University and The Catholic University of America on pursuing careers in law.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Mr. Buchholz is deeply committed to civic engagement and community service. In 2026, he was invited to join the board of advisors for Athletes for Hope—a national nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering athletes in their charitable endeavors—where he is one of the youngest members contributing to its mission. He also coaches a high school travel baseball team, mentoring young athletes both on and off the field. His dedication to pro bono work is reflected by his inclusion on the Capital Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2024 and 2025.
In his personal life, Mr. Buchholz enjoys traveling and playing golf alongside coaching high school travel baseball teams. Looking ahead, he remains committed to delivering exceptional results for his firm's clients while providing value to his community through legal services and mentorship initiatives. Through ongoing involvement with Athletes for Hope and pro bono efforts, he aims to inspire others by example while continuing to make a positive impact as a son, friend, boyfriend, brother and grandson.
Mr. Buchholz is also committed to supporting individuals as they navigate the complexities of large law firms, both within his organization and across the broader legal industry. He emphasizes that, at its core, the role of an attorney is to serve others by addressing their legal challenges.
