He led teams of 30 to 200 personnel and managed complex programs involving systems integration, software development, budgets, staffing, customer engagement, and technical oversight.

Dr. Munkeby also served concurrently in higher education for 17 years as an adjunct professor and part-time faculty member at five universities, supervising more than 250 doctoral dissertations and capstone projects. In 2017, he received the Faculty of the Year award from Colorado Technical University.
