Earlier, Ms. Ramsey served as executive producer of "Taking Flight: The Nadine Ramsey Story," a film that chronicles the achievements of her sister-in-law, a pioneering female pilot who served in World War II. Through this work, she has diligently preserved her family's military history, ensuring that these compelling stories reach new generations. Additionally, Ms. Ramsey's acclaimed authorship includes "Taking Flight: The Nadine Ramsey Story," published by University Press of Kansas, and her memoir "Reflections," which received five stars on Amazon and was praised by the Los Angeles Times for its honesty and personal insight. These works exemplify her lifelong dedication to education and legacy.

Before pivoting into filmmaking and writing, Ms. Ramsey enjoyed a tenured career in education, serving as an English as a Second Language coordinator and administrator at Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, from 1992 to 2013. Over more than two decades, she taught writing, literature, poetry, and research while coaching speech and debate teams. Ms. Ramsey found profound meaning in touching students' lives and guiding them toward harmony through faith, hope and love, lessons she shared in her memoir.

Ms. Ramsey's academic foundation was established at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in education with a focus on secondary education and teaching and a Bachelor of Letters in journalism and foreign service. She also secured secondary teaching credentials and an administrative credential from the Beverly Hills Unified School District. These qualifications enabled Ms. Ramsey to excel as an educator and administrator while shaping future generations through literature and debate.

Beyond her work-related commitments, Ms. Ramsey is a member of the Military Order of the World Wars, the American Legion, the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society, the U.S. Cavalry Association and the Oklahoma Military Academy (now Rogers State University). Her leadership extends to serving as an adjutant of the Military Order of the World Wars, where she continues to support military heritage initiatives.

Ms. Ramsey's achievements have been recognized with numerous honors, including the Hero Award from Downtown Los Angeles and an Education Award from the Mayor of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hills Council. Additionally, in December 2025, she was named One of 16 Top Professionals by The Wall Street Journal. Crediting her success to the strong support of her family, Ms. Ramsey's legacy includes an extensive background in education. Notably, her grandfather founded the first law school in the Philippines.

Ms. Ramsey entered teaching with a desire to carry forward the values set forth by her family. Her transition to authorship was motivated by promises made to her husband to document their family's courageous stories.
