Mr. Krontz served as an engineering manager at Shaffner Heaney Associates Inc. from 2000 to 2005, following his service as project manager and manufacturer's representative with the same company between 1994 and 2000. He began his professional journey as a senior draftsman at KAWNEER from 1988 to 1992, gaining foundational experience in glazing manufacturing before the plant's closure prompted a brief transition into real estate.

Among Mr. Krontz's most notable achievements is the design of a custom project for the Nevada State Museum in Carson City, Nevada, which featured an innovative sloped glaze and curtain wall system. This accomplishment exemplifies his technical proficiency and creative problem-solving abilities. A recognized expert in commercial aluminum framing and glazing framing, Mr. Krontz has been an active member of the American Architectural Manufacturers Association since 2016. Mr. Krontz's educational background includes an associate degree in architectural engineering technology from ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne, Indiana, completed in 1988. He is also a graduate of Sturgis High School in Sturgis, having received his diploma in 1985.
