Among his proudest accomplishments is securing the One Penn Plaza project in New York City — a contract valued at approximately three-and-a-half million dollars with Vornado — by presenting engineering drawings that solved an industry-wide challenge previously considered insurmountable. The success of this project led directly to the award of the Two Penn Plaza project due to flawless execution and client satisfaction.

Mr. Gretsuk further distinguished himself by engineering, manufacturing and installing a custom elevator for the Gucci Meatpacking project designed to resemble a jewel box, an achievement that pushed the boundaries of conventional elevator design.

In 2019, Mr. Gretsuk invented and patented the Sterilyft elevator cab air-sanitization device, which removes viruses from cab interiors. This innovation won the New York City Department of Buildings Hack the Building Code Competition and received exclusive code approval in New York City. The Sterilyft device also earned recognition from the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and led to an invitation for Mr. Gretsuk to speak at the NAC Spring Conference before approximately 2,300 attendees on elevator cleanliness and air sanitization.
