In addition to being a successful business owner and litigator, Ms. Drayton has long been a college faculty member. Her career began as an Assistant District Attorney with the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Boston. She tried 30+ jury trials and hundreds of bench trials transforming her into a highly skilled trial attorney. In preparation for her career, Ms. Drayton attended Cornell University. She later earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Suffolk University in Boston. Ms. Drayton has been admitted to practice by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Ms. Drayton is a respected member of several industry-related organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, Provisors and USA 500. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is deeply engaged in civic life. She is an active sponsor of the YWCA, supporting its mission to empower women and reduce racism. Through her firm's sponsorships, she helps fund housing for women who have survived domestic violence. Ms. Drayton also helped establish a Lawyer for the Day program in two divisions of the housing court, guiding pro se litigants facing eviction actions.
Among other commitments, Ms. Drayton is significantly engaged in youth sports and her local community. She serves as a team mom for her daughter's all-star cheerleading team at Cheer Factor, traveling nationwide for competitions, and for her son's football team. She is also a classroom mom at Sage School and the Ahern middle school, and has held leadership roles for years including president of the parent-teacher organization.
