HOPE MILLS, NC, May 29, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karen Elisabeth Menz has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Menz is a veteran, Traumatic Brain Injury educator, health coach, author, and founder of Healing Rise Up Solutions and Karen Menz Healing and Empowerment LLC. Her professional work focuses on education, health coaching, wellness support, and practical resources for Traumatic Brain Injury survivors, veterans, and caregivers.
Her areas of focus include TBI education, caregiver support, veteran advocacy, neuro fatigue awareness, independent living skills, daily structure, wellness-based education, and workbook-based tools for individuals navigating life after Traumatic Brain Injury.
Menz's structured books, workbooks, and coaching programs are designed from lived experience, practical recovery education, and a successful personal transformation after multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries. Her work reflects a professional effort to turn personal pain into an organized movement that advances education, collaboration, and practical support for the TBI community.
Menz's goal is to bring Traumatic Brain Injury support groups, organizations, professionals, caregivers, veterans, and survivors together to strengthen collaboration and move the TBI movement forward through education, shared resources, and community-based support.
Menz has an extensive military background. She began her military career in the Army National Guard in January 1985 and later served more than 20 years on active federal duty as an Active Duty Army Title 10 Liaison with the United States Army. Her military service contributed to her leadership development, administrative experience, operational discipline, and service-centered professional approach.
Menz earned a Bachelor of General Studies from Louisiana Tech University, graduating on February 26, 2000. She later earned a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2008. She also earned certification as a Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Her education and training support her work as a TBI educator, health coach, author, and advocate.
As part of her advocacy work, Menz authored "Enjoying Life Against All Odds: As a Multiple Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor" in 2020 and "Against All Odds: Overcoming Multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries" in 2023. She also compiled "Life After TBI" in 2025, a guide focused on helping survivors develop habits that support independent living.
Menz is developing educational materials and workbooks addressing practical recovery topics, including neuro fatigue, emotional regulation, daily routines, organization, communication, confidence, and life skills after Traumatic Brain Injury.
From 2024 to 2026, Menz served as a business consultant with Beach Boss Influencers, providing strategic guidance to entrepreneurs seeking to expand their digital presence and business visibility.
In 2026, Menz participated in the Entrepreneur of Impact competition and placed 5th in the Quarter-Finals. The competition supported GENYOUth and its mission to help schoolchildren thrive through improved nutrition and physical activity. Menz used the platform to increase visibility for Traumatic Brain Injury survivors, veterans, caregivers, and the need for structured post-discharge support.
Menz has also been selected to participate in BetaBlox, with participation scheduled for November 2026. This entrepreneurial development opportunity aligns with her continued efforts to strengthen the operational foundation of Healing Rise Up Solutions and Karen Menz Healing and Empowerment LLC.
Her civic and faith-based service includes writing inspirational cards for PreBorn!, supporting nursing homes through church outreach, contributing at the LA Dream Center in California, and participating in a mission trip to Bhutan.
Menz's recognitions include Army Achievement Medals, a Leadership Award for Excellence of Performance, and completion of the Turning Point Leadership Intensive through her church.
Looking ahead, Menz plans to continue developing workbooks, coaching resources, educational tools, and collaborative programs for Traumatic Brain Injury survivors, veterans, and caregivers.
