Camera stores from Los Angeles to San Diego participated in marketing and staffing this event for over 500 photographers each day. She enjoyed working directly with Universities and Colleges in her multi-state territory to grow Kodak's sales. Ms. Foster's technical expertise allowed her to bridge traditional film processes with emerging digital trends.

There, she honed her skills in graphic arts design while managing advertising campaigns and marketing strategies that supported the growth of the business. Shortly after graduating with her undergraduate degree, Ms. Foster gained experience in broadcast media as a grip and assistant camera person at KGW in Portland, Oregon.
Integral to her professional achievements, Ms. Foster has held a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications with a minor in photo technology from Pacific University since 1987. Ms. Foster has pursued ongoing professional development through several certifications from LinkedIn, including Facebook marketing and advertising, understanding the impact of deepfake videos and professional networking. She also garnered a marketing certificate from the University of California, Irvine.
Throughout her career, Ms. Foster has been an active member of industry organizations, including the American Society of Media Photographers Inc., which has provided valuable opportunities for networking and professional growth. Her civic engagement includes volunteering her time photographing dogs and cats to help them get adopted, teaching photography skills, photographing families who have lost their pictures due to fire, and supporting efforts with Salt River Horses. Earlier, from 2015 to 2021, Ms. Foster served as troop leader for the Girl Scouts of America San Diego, where she encouraged young women to pursue photography through merit badge programs.
Ms. Foster's accomplishments have been recognized through multiple awards, including recognition as the first female recipient of the President's Award from Canon Inc. in 2000. She also received several outstanding sales performance awards.
Looking ahead, Ms. Foster hopes to see membership within the Photographic Society of America double while inspiring more young people to engage with photography so that clubs and councils will thrive into the future.
