TRINITY, FL, May 29, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Angel L. Cook has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Recently celebrating her 10-year milestone as a broker at Leaders Insurance Agency, Ms. Cook is a distinguished professional of more than two decades in the insurance industry with specialties in homeowners insurance, automotive insurance and commercial insurance. Over the past decade, she has been pivotal in the growth and success of the agency, where her responsibilities include networking with professionals through the Chamber of Commerce, Business Network International and various community organizations, managing daily staff meetings to review workloads, and assigning responsibilities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

In her role, Ms. Cook provides full operational support to her staff, handles administrative duties, processes payroll and reviews financial performance metrics, all while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of underwriting standards and carrier guideline changes. Known for her personalized approach, she takes pride in helping her clients gain a comprehensive understanding of the insurance they are purchasing.

Prior to joining Leaders Insurance, Ms. Cook worked as an independent sales agent at Tampa Bay Insurance from 2008 to 2016, during which she honed her skills in both client relations and policy management. Her earlier experience includes a pivotal tenure at Allstate Insurance Company, where she started her journey in the field in 2004. Only a few months into her role at Allstate, her career trajectory was profoundly influenced by a challenge from her supervisor Keith Fulton to establish business partnerships through direct outreach to real estate offices, title companies and car dealerships.

Despite feeling initial apprehension about public speaking and introducing herself to new contacts, Ms. Cook embraced this opportunity with determination. Her efforts to connect resulted in successful referral partnerships that expanded her network and led to her involvement with the local Chamber of Commerce and nonprofit boards, igniting her passion for networking and community engagement.

Ms. Cook began her professional journey as a store trainer at Home Depot, where she managed training programs but found the demanding hours incompatible with the challenges of single motherhood. Encouraged by her friend Kathy Jennings, who recognized her potential, she transitioned into the insurance industry after successfully completing a vocational program — a decision that proved transformative for both her career and sense of personal fulfillment.

Ms. Cook's educational background includes a diploma from Hudson High School, which she earned in 1993. Although she briefly attended college, unforeseen challenges led her to discontinue her studies early in the semester. Guided by mentorship and significant community support during this period of uncertainty, she went on to obtain an insurance license in 2001 as well as 2-20 property and casualty agent credentials.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Cook is known for her deep devotion to civic engagement. She serves on the boards of the Rotary Club of Holiday, is a committee member for Youth and Family Alternatives' RAP House, the Community Service Council and Leadership Pasco, where she has held roles as President, chairperson for program day, graduation and orientation committees. She is also vice president of The Hope Shot, which provides living assistance and recovery paths for individuals facing mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Ms. Cook's volunteerism is further reflected through her contributions as a steering committee member for Coronation Ball as the silent auction chair and volunteer organizer. She is also the Chairperson for The Rotary Club of Holiday Chasco Fiesta Street Parade and The Rotary Club of Holiday Holiday Street Parade. In recognition of her outstanding service and impact on the community, she has received numerous honors including Humanitarian of the Year, Citizen of the Year, Philanthropist of the Year, Volunteer of the Year and Rotarian of the Year.

Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Cook attributes her success to the encouragement of mentors who played a crucial role throughout her development; having grown up without family support, she credits her community for believing in her abilities and nurturing her ambitions. Alongside the influence of Ms. Jennings and Mr. Fulton, Ms. Cook is immensely grateful to Tina Shelton, who provided vital support during important moments in her career.

As a balance to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Cook values self-care activities such as watching movies, getting facials and walking her dog each night. She also enjoys listening to music and podcasts that focus on self-care as well as spending quality time with her family and friends.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Cook is committed to expanding her agency with a focus on empowering women who seek meaningful careers that benefit their communities while supporting those in need locally. She is equally determined to make a lasting impact on the shelter where she spent part of her youth; helping children in need who are sharing similar experiences today remains one of her highest priorities.

Through perseverance, expertise and deep-rooted community involvement, Ms. Cook continues to exemplify leadership, compassion and integrity within her profession, civic endeavors and personal life alike.
