Mrs. Bryant's earlier experience included serving as a clinic coder II at North Oaks Health System from 2012 to 2013, where she applied her technical knowledge in medical coding to support clinical operations. Earlier in 2012, she worked as a field representative at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, gaining valuable exposure to healthcare administration in a dynamic environment.

Between 2008 and 2012, Ms. Bryant gained foundational expertise at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where she began as an entry-level staff member responsible for administrative tasks, such as faxing, filing and front desk assistance. Demonstrating initiative and adaptability, she quickly advanced into the billing department as a denial specialist I, focusing on physician billing for the PCN 28 clinic and identifying opportunities for process improvement and accounts receivable cleanup. She also gained experience in the credentialing department, learning provider onboarding processes and licensure management before returning to billing with expanded responsibilities. During her tenure with the medical center, Mrs. Bryant played a pivotal role in resolving complex reimbursement issues related to otolaryngology procedures for vertigo patients under Dr. Arriaga's care. Her meticulous appeals process led to a landmark decision that extended Louisiana's reimbursement rule for specific procedures, resulting in increased payments for additional billable units.

Mrs. Bryant's educational background included completing coursework in medical billing and coding at Medvance Technical College in Baton Rouge from 2006 to 2007, followed by earning the medical coding specialist certification at Medvance Institute in Baton Rouge in 2007, graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She subsequently achieved national certification as a certified professional coder and certified professional biller through the American Academy of Professional Coders. In 2024, Mrs. Bryant further distinguished herself by obtaining Epic Professional Billing Resolute CT certification through FMOL EPIC. Throughout her career, Mrs. Bryant has maintained an active membership with the American Academy of Professional Coders since 2007, reflecting her dedication to ongoing professional development and industry engagement.
