NEW YORK, NY, June 03, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jiani Huo, Esq., has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Widely acknowledged for her expertise in art law and talent-based immigration visas, Ms. Huo is the founder of and principal attorney at The HUO Law Firm, P.C., which she established in New York City in 2025. In her leadership role, she oversees both the firm's legal practice and overall operations.
Though her career counts many milestones, Ms. Huo's proudest professional achievements are rooted in her ongoing impact on the lives and careers of emerging and established artists around the world. She has guided international creative professionals through complex immigration processes by securing talent-based O-1 visas as well as EB-1A and NIW green cards, helping them establish and advance their careers in the United States.
In connection with her art law practice, Ms. Huo advises artists, collectors, and galleries on contracts, intellectual property matters, and disputes, working to protect their creative works and professional interests. She is also widely recognized for fostering connections among artists, galleries, collectors, and art advisors within the art community. In addition to creatives, her clientele also includes leading entrepreneurs of multinational companies, accomplished scholars, and scientists affiliated with prestigious institutions. Committed to helping talented individuals build sustainable careers in the United States, Ms. Huo continues to exemplify legal excellence and social responsibility in equal measure.
Also known for her dedication to public service, Ms. Huo has been civically engaged through volunteer work with the City University of New York Citizenship Now! program, where she provided pro bono assistance for green card applicants. Although her current schedule limits her traditional volunteering opportunities, she continues to take on select pro bono cases, including representing unpaid emerging artists for their art law matters, to ensure that those in the greatest need receive justice.
Prior to founding her own firm, Ms. Huo excelled as a senior associate attorney at JW Practice Group from 2021 to 2025, where she built an extensive client base at the boutique immigration law firm in New York City. Her practice focused on talent-based immigration matters for artists, scientists, university researchers, and multinational executives. Ms. Huo also held the position of associate at DGW Kramer LLP and at Dai & Associates, P.C. in New York City, respectively, during which she further developed her expertise in cross-border immigration, corporate law, intellectual property matters, and litigation services.
Before relocating to the United States, Ms. Huo began her legal career with foundational roles in China. As a legal assistant at Jiangsu Shaoping Law Firm in Suzhou from 2012 to 2013, she gained valuable early exposure to legal practice in her home country. She also completed a legal internship at Dentons, a global law practice that assists clients in building, financing, and operating their businesses, in Nanjing in 2010.
Alongside her primary roles, Ms. Huo is actively engaged with leading professional organizations as a member of the Immigration Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Center for Art Law, reflecting her commitment to advancing legal standards within the art community.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Huo earned a Master of Laws in banking, corporate, and finance law from Fordham University School of Law in New York City. She also holds a Master of Laws in international economic law from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Laws from Nanjing University of Finance and Economics. To augment her knowledge and qualifications, she has been licensed to practice law by the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, and Southern Districts of New York, as well as the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York.
In recognition of her significant contributions to both the legal and art sectors, Ms. Huo was honored as one of the "Top 10 Chinese American Outstanding Youth" by the All-America Chinese Youth Federation and The Los Angeles Post in 2025. She was selected for Super Lawyers Rising Stars for 2026. Reflecting on her legal practice journey thus far, she attributes her success to deep personal responsibility and hard work, qualities reflected in her hands-on approach to every case regardless of size or complexity, and she remains committed to maintaining this level of excellence across all facets of The HUO Law Firm.
Deeply engaged in the contemporary art world both professionally and personally, Ms. Huo is also an active art collector and is frequently invited to attend gallery openings, art fairs, private events, and auctions throughout the art community. Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Huo enjoys painting, reading, writing, playing the drums, and attending live music performances and art shows. She also maintains an active lifestyle through cooking, jogging, and fitness training.
Determined to further her impact in the coming years, Ms. Huo plans to expand her team at The HUO Law Firm by hiring additional associates whom she views as future partners dedicated to building the firm collaboratively. As one of the few Chinese lawyers focusing on the intersection of art law and talent-based immigration, she aims to further establish herself as a trusted legal resource within this niche field while continuing to support the growth of the international creative community.
