Another significant milestone is maintaining sobriety; after enduring chronic pain from 53 surgeries and struggling with prescription medication dependency, he sought help at the Betty Ford Center fifteen years ago and has remained grateful for his recovery ever since.

In addition to spending time with his children, Dr. Romano enjoys playing doubles in pickleball and tennis as well as visiting the beach. Looking ahead, he intends to continue working part-time while maintaining an active role in both professional and personal pursuits.
