The project is a culmination of his personal faith, family heritage and historical preservation into a single structure, and he cites it as a highlight of his career. Additionally, the memorial will serve as a place of worship and prayer for individuals who wish to pray in humility without worrying about others' observations.

Mr. Maharrey's ascent into entrepreneurship commenced following his incarceration, during which he became the first person in that county's history to successfully overturn his conviction while representing himself pro se, achieving that outcome in just a brief period. Having studied law extensively during his incarceration, he identified substantial grounds related to fraud and procedural issues used in his conviction. As a result, after several court proceedings, he was released on his own recognizance without bail, the charges were reduced to misdemeanors, and the case was resolved. Despite the uncertainties and struggles associated with his incarceration, Mr. Maharrey remained motivated to pursue self-guided learning across multiple fields of interest until he established Magnolia Renovation and Construction.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Maharrey served in various diverse roles within production, manufacturing and transportation, having been a truck driver in logistics and operations management; a production machine manager for Chicksaw Container, where he helped assemble the company's first night shift crew; a logging and construction worker; and a valued service member of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 2012 until earning the rank of sergeant in 2017. During his service, Mr. Maharrey completed three overseas deployments and was meritoriously promoted through the ranks.

Equally committed to charitable endeavors, Mr. Maharrey serves as a board member of the Okolona Chamber of Commerce and the Okolona Development Foundation and Charities in Mississippi, through which he contributes to local economic growth and community development.
