BUFFALO, NY, June 09, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gary E. Frost has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Frost has established a distinguished career spanning more than four decades, marked by expertise in personal taxation, tax preparation, tax planning and tax advice. Since 1982, he has operated as a self-employed tax preparer, consultant and planner, preparing approximately 500 individual tax returns annually. His commitment to client service is evident in his dedication to meeting with clientele from January through April 15 each year. Beyond the busy tax season, Mr. Frost remains engaged in personal endeavors and community activities, including coaching his granddaughters in softball.

Prior to focusing exclusively on his tax practice, Mr. Frost served as a global supplier quality engineer for Global Air Separation at Praxair from 2010 to 2015. In this capacity, he was responsible for ensuring supplier compliance with rigorous quality standards and supporting the company's international operations. His analytical skills and attention to detail contributed significantly to the organization's reputation for excellence.

From 1989 to 2010, Mr. Frost held the position of plant manager at Diversified Manufacturing Inc. in Lockport, New York. This role stands as his most notable professional achievement. He oversaw a workforce of 110 employees and managed a 110,000-square-foot manufacturing facility generating $25 million in annual sales. Beginning his tenure at the company as an inspector in 1989, Mr. Frost advanced through various roles over two decades, becoming deeply involved in the quality movement that shaped manufacturing during the late twentieth century.

Mr. Frost's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a focus on business and management from the University at Buffalo, where he graduated cum laude in 1978. This educational background provided him with the technical knowledge and analytical skills essential for his subsequent achievements in both manufacturing management and tax consultancy. He also holds certification as a certified tax practitioner through New York State and the Internal Revenue Service, further validating his proficiency in the field.

The trajectory of Mr. Frost's career was influenced by formative experiences growing up in a blue-collar household where financial challenges were common. He attributes much of his success to the values instilled by his parents and the motivation derived from striving for recognition alongside an accomplished older brother James (who is also a Who's Who honoree).

Mr. Frost's decision to establish a tax business in 1982 was initially driven by economic necessity amid instability in the manufacturing sector; after experiencing four job losses during that decade, he maintained his tax practice as a part-time pursuit while seeking stable employment elsewhere. His wife's pursuit of a nursing degree also contributed to their family's financial security during this period.

As his expertise grew, Mr. Frost's tax business evolved from a means of economic survival into a vehicle for funding his daughters' college education and ultimately became his primary source of retirement income. In 2015, he transitioned fully into self-employment as a tax preparer following his departure from Praxair.

Leaving the workforce in 2015, at age 59, after 43 grueling years of full-time employment was a bittersweet moment. Mr. Frost's wife of 40 years was diagnosed with dementia in 2014. By September of 2015 she had steadily declined to a point of needing a full-time care provider. Donna passed in 2019 with Gary by her side after 60 months of decline. During the 45 years they were together, they raised two incredible young women who have gone on to serve in the medical community, one as an MSPA, the other as a PHARMD.

Civic engagement has been a consistent theme throughout Mr. Frost's life. He served for eight years on the board of directors at Lord of Lights Church in Depew, New York, where his accounting acumen was highly valued within the congregation of approximately 150 members. Additionally, he contributed 12 years of service on the board of his patio home community's homeowners association. Mr. Frost is also recognized for his commitment to public service as a dedicated blood donor with the American Red Cross, having donated 10 gallons of blood through regular contributions every eight weeks.

Born in Buffalo, Mr. Frost enjoys coaching softball, a tradition he began with his daughters and now continues with his granddaughters, alongside running marathons and playing baseball. Looking ahead, he intends to address unfair employee taxation policies affecting New York State workers by seeking solutions to alleviate these challenges. He is also engaged in efforts related to a potential class action lawsuit concerning design flaws within his homeowners association community and plans to continue coaching T-ball and softball for his granddaughters as long as possible.
