GULF BREEZE, FL, June 10, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rev. Ashlee B. Mosley Brown has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by over two decades of diverse experience and a steadfast commitment to serving vulnerable populations, Rev. Mosley Brown has distinguished herself as a leader in ministry, nonprofit management, restaurant ownership, and community engagement. Since 2024, she has served as the Executive Director of Bright Bridge Ministries and Senior Pastor of Richards Memorial United Methodist Church in Pensacola, Florida, where she oversees all aspects of the organization's operations including applying for new grants, fulfilling reporting requirements for existing grants and furthering its primary goal to provide housing, spiritual guidance, food and recovery services for individuals and families in need.
In her leadership capacity, Rev. Mosley Brown manages programming within the shelter and dining hall programs, collaborates with administrative entities, engages with the Board of Directors and supports their efforts to ensure that the Bright Bridge mission reaches as many people as possible. Additionally, she is responsible for managing staff, overseeing finances, and cultivating leadership and vision to support the organization's long-term future.
Though her career counts many milestones and accolades, Rev. Mosley Brown is particularly proud of her work at Bright Bridge Ministries, an institution with a legacy spanning twenty years. Richards Memorial UMC has served the community for over 80 years, while its nonprofit arm has been active since 2006. She feels deeply honored to continue the work begun by her predecessors and is humbled by the trust placed in her by both the board and her faith community. Under her leadership, Bright Bridge Ministries continues to transform lives and provide vital support to individuals who face significant challenges. Bright Bridge Ministries provided 15,917 nights of shelter to 265 men in 2025, where 91 men gained jobs and 76 men moved out to stable housing. Bright Bridge Ministries provided over 35,461 meals for over 1,750 men, women, and children in 2025 and volunteers logged over 10,750 volunteer hours! It's a thriving faith-based nonprofit and she considers it one of the most fulfilling roles and joys of her life.
In addition to her work at Bright Bridge Ministries, Rev. Mosley Brown has served as a reverend and community minister with the United Methodist Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida, since 2021 and been active in ministry since 1998. Her pastoral work focuses on corporate chaplaincy, inner city outreach, addiction recovery, allyship with LGBTQIA+ persons, food insecurity and mental health support — areas in which she has developed her expertise and is recognized for her administrative yet, compassionate approach.
Outside of her ministry endeavors, Rev. Mosley Brown is the VP Development of Native Cafe, a popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant she and her husband's family have operated in Pensacola Beach, Florida, since 2008. Her commitment to exceptional business development, community relations, and marketing has contributed to Native Cafe's reputation as a beloved local establishment, earning regular accolades such as the Best Breakfast and Best Restaurant in Pensacola Beach awards with the Pensacola News Journal's Best of the Bay Award and In Weekly's Best of the Coast Award.
Rev. Mosley Brown's multidisciplinary professional journey includes serving as Chief Development Officer and Corporate Chaplain at SCI Healthcare Group Inc. in Pensacola from 2022 to 2023. In this role, she led business development initiatives for the organization that specializes in providing trademarked, cutting-edge quality spiritual index measurements to healthcare providers to aid in overall successful health outcomes.
Rev. Mosley Brown's earlier career includes nearly 15 years of success with the software-as-a-service company AppRiver where she worked in the following roles: as a Channel Sales Advisor in territory management from 2008-2012; then as a Curriculum Development and Training Facilitator from 2012-2018; eventually serving as the Culture and Employee Experience Ambassador in the Human Resources Department from 2018-2022. During her work as the Training Facilitator and eventual Culture and Employee Experience Ambassador, Ashlee was partly responsible for the successful cultural transition of employees at AppRiver during its acquisition by Zix Corporation and then Open Text. In each of these positions, she developed processes, materials, relationships, and achieved strategic plans towards achieving business objectives for the company, all while maintaining her commitment to ministry and care for the whole person. It was during this time at AppRiver, then Zix and Open Text through acquisitions, in her early career that Ashlee gained valuable leadership experience that continues to serve her at Bright Bridge Ministries and Native Cafe.
Alongside her primary roles, Rev. Mosley Brown has maintained active involvement in industry-related organizations including the Pensacola Women's Alliance, the Pensacola Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce.
Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Rev. Brown earned a Master of Divinity in theology and philosophy of religion from Emory University in 2007 as well as a Bachelor of Science in philosophy and religious studies from The University of West Florida (UWF) in 2004. Recognized for her impact inside and outside the classroom at both schools, she served as a teaching assistant and graduate assistant at Emory for two years and was named Religious Studies Student of the Year by UWF in 2004.
Rev. Mosley Brown's professional credentials include ordination as a minister within the United Methodist Church as well as certification as an Applied Ethics Professional from The University of West Florida.
Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Rev. Mosley Brown attributes her success to her ability to persevere through adversity — including her ongoing management of autoimmune conditions — and credits her family for their unwavering love and encouragement throughout her journey. Her faith remains central to her resilience and sense of purpose, guiding everything she does professionally and personally.
Also known for her commitment to civic engagement, Rev. Mosley Brown is an alumnus of the Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta from the University of West Florida, has served on the Board of Directors for United Ministries in Pensacola since 2020 and joined the board at Bright Bridge Ministries in 2024. As a sustaining member of Junior League of Pensacola — which recognized her efforts with the Kendra Fendt Ray of Sunshine Award in 2013 — and participant in J.U.S.T. Pensacola, she actively contributes to initiatives that fight injustice and strengthen the local community for all.
Happily married to her husband Jesse for over 15 years, Rev. Mosley Brown enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new restaurants and farmers markets, attending concerts, paddleboarding, boating, kayaking, gardening and spending time with her beloved pets outside of work.
Looking toward the future, Rev. Mosley Brown aims to further develop Bright Bridge Ministries' reputation as an exemplary organization known for its stability and service excellence while expanding Native Cafe's impact within the Pensacola Beach community. She is considering pursuing additional education such as a Doctor of Ministry and aims to increase her influence through public engagement while continuing to serve those in need meaningfully alongside her husband, who remains an essential source of support both personally and professionally.
