FORT THOMAS, KY, June 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Frederick Brockmeier IV, Esq., PhD, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by more than three decades of service and leadership, Dr. Brockmeier has led a distinguished career that spans law, military service, academia and consulting. In his current capacity as a litigation consultant with ProConsul Group, a role he has held since 1990, he draws on his extensive experience to support attorneys in drafting pleadings related to constitutional issues in criminal cases and domestic relations matters, including separation agreements.
Dr. Brockmeier is responsible for composing, drafting and reviewing appellate briefs, consulting with legal professionals regarding brief preparation, case validation and the integration of artificial intelligence-assisted legal drafting tools. Dedicated to staying at the forefront of the evolving legal realm, his expertise extends to utilizing advanced technology for legal research and document drafting while ensuring accuracy in both case law and citations.
In addition to his consulting work, Dr. Brockmeier serves as an adjunct professor at Northern Kentucky University, where he continues to teach both face-to-face and online courses in organizational leadership, psychology and criminal justice. His academic involvement began in 2004 when he joined the university's faculty full-time, later transitioning to a part-time adjunct role as he approached retirement age.
During his tenure at Northern Kentucky, Dr. Brockmeier played a pivotal role in launching an innovative program designed to address the educational needs of working adults who had previously left college without completing a degree. This initiative provided adult learners with opportunities to reflect on their professional experiences and learn from past challenges in a supportive environment. His colleagues recognized his contributions by naming him Outstanding Professor of the Adult Learning Program during its inaugural year.
Dr. Brockmeier has also been a member of the faculty at University of Phoenix since 2006, further expanding his influence in higher education by teaching courses that bridge theory and practice in leadership and ethics.
Parallel to his legal practice, Dr. Brockmeier dedicated more than two decades of service to the United States Navy Reserve, beginning during the Vietnam War era in the 1970s. Rising through the ranks, he ultimately served as commanding officer of a cargo handling battalion that was responsible for mobilizing swiftly during international crises. One of his proudest accomplishments was leading an operation that involved 160 personnel tasked with loading helicopters, trucks and tanks onto ships at Pearl Harbor for deployment to South Korea — a complex exercise that underscored his leadership abilities as a reservist. His exemplary service within the Navy saw him presented with the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Alongside his primary roles, Dr. Brockmeier's professional affiliations reflect his standing within both legal and military communities. He has held membership in the American Society of Trial Consultants. He is a life member of the American Legion and holds membership with the United States Naval Institute. He was a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association — where he served as president-elect in 1989 — and the American Bar Association. Additionally, he is affiliated with the American Hospital Association. He has served on the board of trustees of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Brockmeier is known for his civic engagement with organizations such as Order of St. Vincent and service as president of the executive council and vestry at his church. Also a published editor of two books, he has contributed original scholarship that reflects his interdisciplinary expertise across law, psychology and leadership.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Brockmeier practiced law for 25 years after earning a Juris Doctor from University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1975 and being admitted to practice by the Ohio State Bar Association. Among his proudest accomplishments during this era was handling his first major lawsuit single-handedly, representing a physician against an experienced opposing counsel and securing a favorable outcome due in part to the fairness of the presiding judge.
Dr. Brockmeier's comfort with medical terminology led him to specialize in medical malpractice law early on, eventually becoming a partner at his firm before transitioning into trial consulting work that focused on supporting attorneys and advocating for vulnerable populations such as nursing home residents. He has deftly navigated the intricacies at the intersection of law and psychology throughout his career, allowing him to make a fulfilling impact while helping others through everything he does.
Driven by intellectual curiosity and a desire to blend legal expertise with psychological insight, Dr. Brockmeier continued his education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in psychology from Union Institute and University in 2004. This advanced degree enabled him to assist lawyers more effectively by applying psychological principles to jury selection, theme development and question framing — skills that proved invaluable during his tenure as the lead trial consultant at ProConsul Group.
Reflecting on his storied journey, Dr. Brockmeier attributes his success across multiple industries to persistence and the ability to overcome setbacks by learning from adversity and seizing opportunities as they arise. He credits this quality with enabling him to navigate the transitions between military service, legal practice, consulting and academia while maintaining his passion for assisting those in need.
A proud father and devoted family man, Dr. Brockmeier takes the greatest pride in raising children who have become thriving adults and now lead their own fulfilling lives. He enjoys reading both nonfiction and fiction works, learning about artificial intelligence advancements and attending concerts and plays.
Looking toward the future, Dr. Brockmeier remains committed to maintaining his health and vitality while giving back to his community by sharing the vast knowledge gained over his decades of diverse experience in law, education and military service — a pursuit that continues to enrich both his life as well as those around him.
