WESLEY CHAPEL, FL, June 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Theresa Jeanne Zorn has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Zorn currently serves as the founder and board-certified nurse practitioner at TJZ Medical, LLC, a role she has held since 2025. As the medical director, she is responsible for reviewing patient intake, prescribing and renewing medications, and evaluating equipment, certifications and research to ensure that all practices are grounded in scientific evidence. Under her leadership, TJZ Medical, LLC has secured contracts with facilities focused on veteran disabilities and has prioritized alternative treatments for chronic inflammation, pain, muscle spasms and joint issues. Ms. Zorn's commitment to evidence-based, holistic care is reflected in her ongoing pursuit of certification in ultrasound-guided joint injections using stem cells and peptides, as well as platelet-rich plasma, to enhance pain relief. She is also on a waiting list for approval to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs' community care program to support veterans further.

In addition to her work at TJZ Medical, LLC, Ms. Zorn is a partner in a functional medical spa that she co-founded with an entrepreneur who previously worked at Microsoft. Together, they have established a facility that offers services beyond those typically found in most medical spas. Their offerings include 503B compounding, Food and Drug Administration-approved treatments, and certified Botox products—primarily used for migraines and temporomandibular joint dysfunction—as well as shock therapy, infrared sauna sessions for pain and inflammation relief, neurological decompression, full-body scans, radiofrequency microneedling, intravenous therapy, and hydrogen therapy. This partnership reflects Ms. Zorn's dedication to expanding access to innovative therapies that address both medical and cosmetic needs.

From 2018 to 2024, Ms. Zorn worked as a primary care nurse practitioner at Cherokee Health Systems in Tennessee, where she conducted veteran disability assessments and integrated primary care into veteran disability services. She managed two offices in Knoxville and Chattanooga, focusing on improving healthcare delivery for veterans. During this period, she sold her farm in Tennessee and relocated to Florida to continue her work in veteran disability services in Tampa.

Prior to her tenure at Cherokee Health Systems, Ms. Zorn spent nine years working in hospice care. Throughout this time, she continually researched alternatives to traditional hospice medications that often caused drowsiness and lethargy among patients. She introduced lavender and other holistic approaches into her care regimen to improve patient comfort and quality of life.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Zorn served as a travel provider at a level two hospital serving veterans in Grand Junction, Colorado. Following this assignment, she accepted a contract for a reservation in Washington state, where she worked with the Native American community for approximately one and a half years. Her initial 13-week contract was extended due to the significant improvements observed in patient health under her care. During this time, she implemented trigger point injections as an alternative pain management strategy to help reduce chronic opioid use—a critical intervention during the opioid crisis—which benefited both Native patients and local construction workers.

Ms. Zorn's career began at a charitable clinic in Bolingbrook, Illinois, where she worked alongside another nurse practitioner who had established the clinic in the back of a church. The clinic expanded over time to offer comprehensive services, including physical therapy and occasional dental care. Serving predominantly Hispanic patients—many of whom were undocumented—the clinic provided affordable healthcare by leveraging community resources and donated medications. Ms. Zorn's efforts ensured that vulnerable populations received essential medical attention while fostering community wellness.

Throughout her professional journey, Ms. Zorn has been recognized for her unwavering dedication to underserved populations. She takes pride in addressing the root causes of health issues in these communities and invests significant time in educating patients so they feel empowered in their healthcare decisions. Her commitment extends beyond clinical practice; she plans to establish a nonprofit organization focused on providing education about alternative treatments as part of the response to the opioid crisis affecting youth.

Ms. Zorn is an active member of several professional organizations, including Florida Women in Business, Chattanooga Area Nurses in Advanced Practice and the American Nurses Association.
Her academic background includes earning a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis on advanced practice nursing from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. She also holds a bachelor's degree from Lewis University, where she graduated as valedictorian. Additionally, Ms. Zorn is certified as a nurse educator through Lewis University—a credential that has supported her efforts to educate both patients and peers throughout her career.

Ms. Zorn attributes her success to personal motivation and the support of her children—particularly her older son Christopher—who have inspired her perseverance as a single mother striving for professional excellence despite limited external support. Her drive stems from a desire to create lasting opportunities for her family while building initiatives that promote health and wellness within the broader community.

Her achievements have been recognized through honors such as the Miguel Todoro Award and the Dean's Key Award for 2001 to 2002.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Zorn enjoys spending time with her three children—especially engaging in activities with her five-year-old son, such as swimming or visiting pirate ships. Looking ahead, she envisions expanding her business by establishing satellite locations to serve communities in need—including elderly individuals and veterans—and providing restorative therapies alongside cosmetic treatments in an integrated med spa environment. Her goals include developing loyal clientele bases across multiple sites while ensuring comprehensive services are accessible under one roof.

Ms. Zorn's legacy is defined by compassionate service to marginalized populations, innovative approaches to pain management, and an enduring commitment to patient education, empowerment and holistic wellness solutions.
