ROCHESTER, MN, June 17, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Silali Banerjee has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Banerjee has established herself as a specialist in applied generative artificial intelligence (AI), earning recognition for her innovative approach to integrating multiple disciplines and pursuing a nonlinear career path. Her professional journey is marked by a commitment to advancing AI education, coaching, and product development, and to supporting women in leadership roles.
In 2026, Ms. Banerjee began serving as an advisor for women in leadership using AI-driven engagement at Rockford University in Rockford, Illinois. She teaches AI courses, coaches on AI adoption, develops proprietary frameworks and products grounded in scientific research, and advises a university program on aligning its curricula with the latest AI advancements.
Ms. Banerjee has been offering service as an AI adoption coach at Leland Inc., a professional coaching platform, since 2026, guiding people in integrating AI solutions into their workflows. Ms. Banerjee also began offering courses on the effective and reliable use of artificial intelligence as an instructor at the e-learning provider Maven Learning Inc. in 2026, where she designs curricula to empower learners to harness AI's full potential. She created the AIgogy framework, her own framework for Human-AI interaction for achieving reliable outcomes from large language models (LLMs) that are inherently stochastic, which is currently one major challenge in the field of AI. She also launched her own application to create effective prompts from rough ideas, particularly useful for open-ended AI-augmented work such as writing, design, and brainstorming.
She also works as a fellow at Handshake AI, the AI Training and Evaluation branch of a recruiting software development company, contributing her expertise to projects ranging from software engineering to photography. She does similar work at Meridial, another AI Training and Evaluation branch of Invisible Technologies Inc.
Before her latest ventures, Ms. Banerjee has been providing academic tutoring in computer science at Empowerly Inc. since 2023, supporting high school students' mastery of complex technical concepts, with a focus on Advanced Placement Computer Science courses. In the past, she worked as a software engineer and also as a software engineering instructor. With a non-linear, discontinuous career spanning more than 20 years, Ms. Banerjee's diverse background began as a software engineer. In 2002, she began teaching a software engineering course at JER Online, followed by a placement in the adjunct faculty pool at Cardinal Stritch University. She also worked as a tutor for Varsity Tutors from 2017 to 2020. In 2022, she worked as a technical instructor at Per Scholas. Ms. Banerjee was a career coach with Wizco. She also excelled as a generalist and head of marketing at Beyond Exam from 2023 to 2025.
Ms. Banerjee's entry into the field of AI was followed by experience working in marketing at a startup. Before that, she began academic tutoring after a 4-year career break, transitioning back into technical roles of teaching a summer-long software development boot camp for Per Scholas as a full-time instructor. Her passion for helping students, many of whom lacked prior exposure to computer science, naturally led her into career coaching alongside instruction. Since then, she has started offering career coaching, creating an AI product to help job seekers, and providing additional conflict-resolution coaching after receiving training in that area.
Ms. Banerjee's recent creative output includes content creation for the AIgogy Framework. This project disseminates knowledge about effective human-AI collaboration and image contributions across multiple platforms, including Unsplash, Pexels, and Vecteezy. Currently, she is in the top 10% contributors of Unsplash, a major free stock photography platform. Her work was featured many times on Unsplash and Pexels.
A defining milestone in Ms. Banerjee's career was her return to full-time work after a nearly two-decade-long hiatus dedicated to raising her children. During this period away from traditional employment, she remained active through part-time freelance work and extensive volunteering. However, she did not hold a full-time position until her reentry into the workforce in 2022. In 2018, Ms. Banerjee participated in a returnship program offered by iRelaunch. When she finally returned to teaching full-time, she got in touch with the program head at iRelaunch. Ms. Banerjee was offered the opportunity to have her story featured on iRelaunch as part of efforts to normalize career breaks and support women returning to rapidly evolving fields such as technology, but at the time, she declined.
Ms. Banerjee holds advanced degrees from leading institutions in India. She received a Bachelor of Science in physics with minors in both mathematics and Chemistry from Jadavpur University in Kolkata, India. She also studied at the University of Calcutta, where she earned both a Bachelor of Technology and a Master of Technology in radiophysics and electronics. Ms. Banerjee also received numerous professional credentials, including course certificates from MITx, ColumbiaX, DeepLearning.AI, and Stanford Online. She also completed online certificate programs from the University of Michigan, the University of San Diego, and the California Institute of the Arts. She had other recent professional certificates in computer science-related topics and applied artificial intelligence.
Beyond her work-related endeavors, Ms. Banerjee has been active in her volunteering with the outreach committee of the Minnesota Council for the Gifted & Talented, reflecting her commitment to educational excellence and community engagement. She has also served as a workshop presenter and mentor with Mission Bit, as a technical and behavioral interview coach mentor with CodePath.org, and, among other involvements, as an advisor for women in leadership with AI-driven engagement at Rockford University. She also volunteers for North South Foundation, helping their national leadership team with content creation. In the past, she served as the chapter coordinator for this organization and conducted math and spelling workshops within her chapter. In the past, she served on the board of GATEWay, the local chapter of the Minnesota Council for the Gifted and Talented. She was involved in the advocacy effort for the Highly Gifted Program. The local school district started the first Highly Gifted Program at that time. She was the chair of the district-wide science fair organized by this organization for two years. She is also a 10k+ contributor to the volunteer platform Catchafire, providing free marketing and branding services to various nonprofit groups remotely.
In recognition of her hard work in the professional field, Wizco honored Ms. Banerjee with a Certificate of Recognition in 2023. In 2023, she also received recognition from Beyond Exam for the early adoption of AI in content creation. She received merit scholarships and recognition for creative writing, debate, and speech during her school and college years. She attributes her achievements to the encouragement from her parents and schoolteachers during her formative years at a residential school inspired by Montessori-like principles. Overcoming societal expectations that often limited women's participation in technical fields, Ms. Banerjee benefited from supportive mentors and coworkers who encouraged her pursuit of engineering despite the lack of women in the field, due to then-prevailing gender norms.
Ms. Banerjee remains committed to challenging gender biases and age-related barriers in technology fields. Eager for what the future holds, she continues to demonstrate energy, adaptability, and vision, qualities that define both her professional legacy and her ongoing contributions to educational innovation in applied generative AI.
