BOSTON, MA, June 19, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Haley Wen has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Wen currently serves as principal at Heritage International Capital and IvyBridge Partners. Corp., a role she has held since 2023. In this capacity, she oversees the legal, financial structuring, and governance of both companies, and provides strategic leadership across capital development, investor relations, and business expansion initiatives.
Her responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, overseeing transaction screening, strategic partnership development, and the cultivation of proprietary deal pipelines. She works closely with management teams, investors, and external partners to assess financing suitability, identify value-creation opportunities, and ensure alignment with the firms' long-term investment objectives. Ms. Wen develops marketing materials, crafts investor-facing strategies and communication frameworks, and coordinates with internal team members and contractors to ensure alignment on business direction, execution priorities, and live transactions. In parallel, she plays a central role in shaping the strategic direction by building internal infrastructure, recruiting senior professionals and industry specialists, and establishing scalable processes that improve sourcing efficiency, operational effectiveness, compliance, and corporate governance standards.
Heritage International Capital operates two primary divisions under Ms. Wen's leadership. The investment division emphasizes evaluating, investing in and co-investing in opportunities characterized by clear fundamentals, reasonable downside protections and a measurable path to growth. The firm collaborates directly with multiple family offices, institutional investors and strategic corporate partners to gain international perspectives. The corporate division focuses on facilitating bridge loans and assisting startups and entrepreneurs in addressing short-term cash flow challenges. Ms. Wen's oversight extends to making investment decisions for three public market portfolios: one based in Asia, another in Canada, and a third in the United States. Through these investments, she has developed a nuanced understanding of global financial systems, comparing the robust capital markets of the United States with those of emerging Asian markets.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Wen was a partner in capital syndication at Advantary Capital Partners from 2025 to 2026. There, she provided capital formation advisory to various firms, offering insights that helped them make informed decisions on acquisitions or sales. Her work spanned the United States to Canada with a particular focus on Asian markets, where she assisted numerous Asian firms in establishing a presence in the United States.
From 2023 to 2024, Ms. Wen served as vice president of fund investment and investor relations at DNA Copper & Gold Corporation, a Canadian private equity firm with operational teams in Lima, Peru. Concurrently, during this period, she was also senior vice president of investment banking at Robinson and Company. In both roles, she contributed her expertise in private investments and investor relations.
Between 2019 and 2023, Ms. Wen was mergers and acquisitions lead in corporate development at OpenText Corporation. One of her most notable achievements during this tenure was overseeing the largest acquisition conducted by OpenText: the acquisition of Micro Focus, a United Kingdom-based firm that effectively doubled OpenText's enterprise value. This significant accomplishment required extensive collaboration across treasury, public relations, labour regulatory, and other functions to manage complex cross-border transactions.
From 2017 to 2019, Ms. Wen worked in mergers and acquisitions strategy and business development at Han's Laser Technology Industry Group Company Limited in Shenzhen, China. She played a crucial role in acquiring CorActive, a Quebec City-based company. Traveling to Shenzhen, she established a wholly owned foreign subsidiary for Han's Laser within three months, navigating litigation and compliance requirements while driving over 30 percent growth and forming a team of junior professionals to support ongoing operations.
Earlier in her career, from 2013 to 2017, Ms. Wen managed Technology and Financial Institutions Group portfolios at Fonds Alpha in Montreal through a student-led partnership with Desjardins Bank, one of the region's largest banks.
Her professional journey began as a junior specialist for international projects at Guangzhou Hongfangyue Trading Company Limited from 2013 to 2015, following apprenticeships at Guangzhou WeiHu Investment Management Company Limited in 2008 and Southern Television Guangdong (now TVSCN) in 2007.
Ms. Wen's academic background includes earning a Master of Business Administration from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell Johnson, an Ivy League institution in Ithaca, New York. She previously earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Faculté des sciences de l'administration at Université Laval in Quebec City. She completed her secondary education at Guangdong Experimental High School, one of the most prestigious boarding school, renowned for its strong academic performance, International Curriculum (A-Level and IFPAD), and robust university placements in the UK and US. She was also awarded Top 3 placement in the 5th Macau Higher Education Debate Competition in Macao.
Ms. Wen attributes her success to a combination of adaptability, rapid learning ability, and deep intellectual curiosity, which together enable her to navigate complex environments, quickly assimilate new information, and continuously refine her judgment across evolving market and investment landscapes. She places strong emphasis on integrity and principled collaboration, grounded in a merit-based ethos that prioritizes performance, accountability, and clear standards. She also prioritizes fostering collaborative professional communities where colleagues exchange knowledge openly and support one another in a constructive manner.
Her entry into the profession was shaped by early exposure to portfolio management, a discipline embedded through generations within her family, followed by a transition into corporate development roles that provided insider perspectives on company growth fundamentals. This dual vantage point enables her to interpret market sentiment effectively for both public and private companies while making concise decisions that ensure adequate returns on available capital.
Born in Guangzhou into a family distinguished by educational attainment, over ninety-five percent holding at least a bachelor's degree, Ms. Wen draws inspiration from relatives who have contributed significantly across healthcare, engineering, business ownership, aviation technology, surgery, medicine, public infrastructure service and during pivotal historical periods such as the Cultural Revolution. Influenced by her family's longstanding commitment to social responsibility, including sustained participation in blood donation and charitable giving, she has developed a parallel commitment to civic engagement. Her involvement includes organizing initiatives and providing mentorship through the Forté Foundation since 2021, volunteering with Equality Now since 2015, and serving as a student volunteer with Caritas in Macau from 2007 to 2008.
Outside her professional commitments, Ms. Wen enjoys investing, reading about geopolitics, sports, and engaging with the arts and music, interests that further enrich her perspective on global markets, investment strategies, business trends, culture and creative expression.
Looking ahead, Ms. Wen is focused on the long-term growth and institutional strengthening of Heritage International Capital, with an emphasis on building reputation and credibility to support sustainable, self-sufficient operations. She is also committed to supporting ambitious individuals through experienced leadership, access to opportunity, and exposure to high-quality professional ecosystems. A core part of her long-term vision is the advancement of financial literacy and higher education, particularly among younger generations and underserved communities. She believes that a stronger understanding of capital, asset accumulation, and disciplined decision-making is foundational to long-term independence and advancement. Through this focus, she seeks to equip individuals with the knowledge and capabilities to achieve financial stability, enhance access to education and healthcare, and ultimately contribute more broadly to societal progress and global well-being.
