GREENVILLE, SC, June 23, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rebekah Leigh Wright has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Wright has established a distinguished career in operations management and strategic planning for growth and expansion, particularly within the behavioral health sector. Since September 2024, she has served as the chief operating officer at Springbrook Behavioral Health, a level-four, locked psychiatric facility in Greenville, South Carolina. In this capacity, Ms. Wright oversees all clinical and non-clinical staff on the units. She collaborates closely with the chief financial officer and the administrator on strategic planning, budgeting and leadership development. Her responsibilities include managing all operational aspects of the hospital, addressing process issues, developing staff members and increasing accountability across departments. She is committed to ensuring cost reduction measures do not compromise patient care and conducts weekly check-ins with her directors to maintain high standards.

A significant achievement during her tenure has been implementing a comprehensive leadership training program for the entire management team at the beginning of 2024. This initiative was designed to support professional growth and foster greater teamwork and cohesiveness among leaders. Recognizing the challenging environment faced by staff working with patients in crises, Ms. Wright has prioritized cultivating a positive workplace culture. She has increased pay rates for direct care staff and nurses, acknowledging their critical role as frontline caregivers. Her approach emphasizes staff development, open communication and leadership accessibility through an open-door policy. By supporting employees in their career advancement – whether within or outside the hospital – she aims to equip them with valuable life skills while enhancing overall organizational health.

From March 2023 to September 2024, Ms. Wright served as director of milieu services at Springbrook Behavioral Health. In this role, she collaborated with several team members and took on additional departmental responsibilities, further expanding her expertise in operational oversight and team leadership.

Between September 2021 and March 2023, Ms. Wright served at Global Lending Services in Greenville as the first woman director of dealership recoveries for approximately one and a half years. In this capacity, she managed four managers and oversaw monthly revenue of about $18 million. She played a pivotal role in facilitating a complete offboarding process, including the relocation of one department to the Dominican Republic. This project required extensive collaboration with analytics and information technology teams.

Ms. Wright's career at Springbrook Behavioral Health began in April 2013 as a direct care staff member on the floor. She briefly held an assistant position before advancing through several internal roles, including director of risk, director of quality and group living director until September 2021. Reporting directly to the administrator and chief operating officer, she led investigations, quality improvement initiatives with the process improvement team, policy reevaluation efforts, drafted plans of correction, and insurance case reviews. Her work also involved close collaboration with public relations and legal teams.

Prior to her tenure at Springbrook Behavioral Health, Ms. Wright managed a shoe store from December 2007 through August 2013, where she developed foundational skills in management and customer service. Her early professional experience includes an internship at The Julie Valentine Center in Greenville, a nonprofit organization, where she received training in project management.

Ms. Wright's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her career trajectory. She earned a Master of Health Administration from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, in 2016, equipping her with advanced knowledge in healthcare operations and administration that directly informs her current leadership strategies. She also holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from North Greenville University, which provided her with insights into human behavior essential for managing both patient care environments and multidisciplinary teams.

Ms. Wright attributes much of her success to an unwavering willingness to learn and a strong aversion to complacency. Embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, Ms. Wright believes that possessing the right skill set enables individuals to navigate uncertainty effectively, a philosophy that underpins her approach to both personal and professional development.

Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. Wright is actively involved in several committees at Springbrook Behavioral Health, including the Quality Leadership Committee, Ethics Committee and Client Rights Committee. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized through numerous accolades, such as recognition among Women in Leadership in 2026, receiving the Leadership Award from South Carolina Business Magazine in 2026 and Greenville Best and Brightest in 2025, as well as nominations for the Top 40 Under 40 Award and the Most Influential Leadership Award.

Born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Ms. Wright enjoys running her own meal prep business and spending time with her family outside of work. Looking ahead, she is dedicated to fostering a more positive culture within her organization by promoting open-mindedness regarding mental health services, particularly those addressing high-crisis situations, and enhancing public perception. Hence, individuals feel comfortable seeking help when needed. She envisions building a future leadership team that is passionate about supporting mental health and ensuring stability for both patients and staff, beyond her own contributions. Personally, Ms. Wright aspires to expand her network of friendships and businesses that reflect her character while pursuing creative opportunities that foster her personal growth.

Ms. Wright's expertise in operations management and strategic planning continues to drive meaningful change within behavioral healthcare settings while inspiring those around her to pursue excellence through continuous learning and development.
