In 2017, Mr. Haffenden founded Aquazeal Charter, further expanding his influence in luxury charter services. That same year, he became managing partner at HH Luxury Lifestyle in London, England, where he remains actively involved in curating bespoke experiences for high-net-worth clients.

Mr. Haffenden's expertise extends to aviation as a non-executive director at Aerozeal Ltd., a position he has held since 2009. He also serves as director of Aquazeal Ltd., a role he assumed in 2001 that underscores his longstanding commitment to the sector as an avid aviator and helicopter pilot.

Prior to his current roles, Mr. Haffenden directed Ascari Aviation from 2013 to 2016, overseeing operational strategies within the aviation industry. Concurrently, from 2013 to 2015, he was the vice president of operations at Premier Yachting, where he managed large-scale yachting projects and client relations.

Before immigrating to the United States from the UK in 2015, Mr. Haffenden co-founded Stratum Five Ltd., serving as operations director from 2009 to 2013. He previously held similar responsibilities as operations director and co-founder at MarineTrack in 2001 and MarineTrack Holdings PLC. Notably, he co-led his previous company through an initial public offering on the London Stock Exchange—a transformative experience that exposed him to complex legal frameworks and city operations.

Mr. Haffenden's professional journey began as chief instructor at AC-Aquazeal Ltd., a position he held from 2000 to 2006. Furthering his industry standing, he is an active member of several industry organizations. He joined the International Yacht Brokers Association in 2018 and has been a founding member of the environment committee for the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association since 2023. His affiliations also include the US Superyacht Association and the European Committee for Professional Yachting.

Academically, Mr. Haffenden's background includes earning a Bachelor of Arts with honors in business management from Southampton Solent University in England in 2001. He has also earned a range of certifications in yacht brokerage, maritime operations and aviation. Among these are the MYBA certification from MYBA Worldwide Yachting Association and designation as a Florida-licensed yacht salesman compliance specialist. He is also an ABYA-certified yacht broker and has completed advanced maritime training through Warsash Maritime Academy as an MCA DPA. Complementing his expertise in the marine sector, he holds a private helicopter pilot license and multiple Royal Yachting Association instructor certifications.

Reflecting on his career, Mr. Haffenden attributes his success to perseverance and a willingness to take risks—values instilled in him by his grandfather's advice to focus on the future rather than dwell on the past. Among his proudest achievements is taking the risk to start his first company, an endeavor that set him on a path of continuous growth and accomplishment.

Outside his professional work, Mr. Haffenden enjoys playing guitar, learning drums, flying helicopters, traveling with family, spending time in the mountains, and hiking and snowboarding. He is most proud of raising two children alongside his wife, Sara.

In the upcoming years, Mr. Haffenden is dedicated to advancing experiential offerings within the yachting industry. He is developing a program centered on luxury submarine charters capable of descending up to 300 meters—an initiative designed to unlock new frontiers in underwater exploration for clients. This program aims to showcase unique marine phenomena, such as hammerhead shark migrations and rare upwellings, while exploring remote destinations like the Cocos Islands and Galapagos by submarine.
