Prior to founding Summit Global Investments, Mr. Harden served as vice president and senior portfolio manager at Ensign Peak Advisors Inc. from 2006 to 2012. In this capacity, he was instrumental in managing institutional investments and developing strategies that contributed to the organization's long-term success.

From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Harden served as vice president at Evergreen Investments, where he further honed his expertise in portfolio management and client relations.

His earlier experience includes serving as a consultant at Wellington Management from 2000 to 2004, where he provided strategic advice on investment products and processes.

Mr. Harden began his career at Fidelity Investments as an account executive from 1993 to 2000. While attending college, he worked full-time at Fidelity Investments, gaining invaluable experience under the mentorship of renowned fund manager Peter Lynch. This early exposure solidified his passion for investment management and set the foundation for his future accomplishments.

Throughout his career, Mr. Harden has developed recognized expertise in leadership, relationship management, process development and delegation, as well as investments, skills that have been integral to his professional success.

Mr. Harden's academic background includes a Master of Science in computer science from Boston University in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts in business from Boston College in 1999. His time at Boston College was particularly formative as he balanced rigorous studies with full-time employment and family responsibilities. The discipline required during these years contributed significantly to his later achievements in both business and life.

He attributes much of his success to the unwavering support of his family, whose sacrifices enabled him to dedicate long hours to his profession. Mr. Harden also credits his faith for guiding his journey and draws inspiration from historical figures such as Abraham Lincoln, whose perseverance and integrity resonate deeply with him. The impetus for founding Summit Global Investments was deeply personal: In 2008, after witnessing his father's concerns about retirement savings during a market downturn—and being unable to assist due to institutional constraints—Mr. Harden resolved to create a firm dedicated to helping individuals manage their finances effectively. The early years were challenging; he did not earn income for four years but found fulfillment in assisting clients like a firefighter preparing for retirement. These experiences reinforced his conviction that the true purpose of his work is to help people realize goals they might not achieve alone.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Harden is actively engaged in civic service and community organizations. He serves on the advisory council for the International Center for Law and Religion Studies. He has dedicated five years to serving as an Eagle Scout and Boy Scout master with Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America). His volunteer efforts include supporting the Festival of Trees, benefiting Primary Children's Hospital's neonatal intensive care unit, participating in Christian ministry work, and contributing time to the Utah Down Syndrome Foundation.
