DIAMOND BAR, CA, June 25, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tami-Adrian George has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Marked by her commitment to client-centered instruction and a mission to transform how the fitness industry approaches business sustainability, Ms. George has led a distinguished career of over three decades in the Pilates and wellness sector. As the founder of T.A.G. Pilates & More in Santa Monica, California, and the Fitness Empire Accelerator — a business coaching program for fitness professionals — she teaches private in-home Pilates sessions to high-level clients, coaches fitness professionals toward financial sustainability, and produces content for an international online audience. One of the few business coaches in her field still actively teaching on the floor, Ms. George embodies the hybrid premium model she teaches: the model she lives is the model she coaches.
Ms. George's impact is most evident in the transformative results experienced by both her private clients and the fitness professionals she coaches. She takes pride in enabling individuals to reclaim their health and independence — helping a 96-year-old client maintain the ability to climb six flights of stairs, supporting clients through major life milestones, and guiding fitness professionals to build six-figure businesses outside the broken traditional studio model. The continued success of the businesses she has coached stands as a testament to her enduring influence across the field.
Prior to establishing her own entity, Ms. George contributed her expertise as a Pilates instructor at Rapid Rehab, where she worked with clients recovering from injury or surgery. She also held instructor roles at The Jonathan Club in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, providing tailored fitness programs for club members, including Pilates for Golf and Pilates for Tennis. Her experience further extends to teaching in San Marino, Pasadena, La Canada, Brentwood, Beverly Hills and Bel Air Estates, where she delivered individualized Pilates education across diverse communities.
In addition to her in-person teaching roles, Ms. George expanded her reach as an online instructor with Online Pilates Classes LLC, developing digital content and leading virtual courses for an international audience that includes those new to Pilates as well as other certified professionals. Her entry into the Pilates profession began in 1992 while building a successful career as an actor and commercial model — appearing in productions including Starship Troopers and General Hospital and over 50 national commercials — experiences that sharpened the communication skills and public presence she now brings to coaching and content creation.
Though Ms. George initially viewed her Pilates work as a complement to her acting career, it evolved into a calling when she recognized the limitations of working within systems that were not designed to support instructors financially. Transitioning to private instruction allowed her to build a thriving six-figure enterprise; as new challenges emerged within the Pilates industry, she expanded into business coaching to equip other instructors with the financial and strategic tools their certification programs never provided.
Academically, Ms. George completed coursework toward a writing degree with a focus on advertising and public relations at California State University Northridge. To augment her ability to integrate therapeutic principles and communicate effectively with clients who face physical limitations, she holds multiple comprehensive Pilates certifications, is certified as a physical therapy assistant, and has earned a neuro linguistic programming certificate.
Reflecting on her journey, Ms. George attributes her professional philosophy to the mentorship of first-generation Joseph Pilates disciples Jillian Hessell, Michelle Larson, and to Lesley Logan and Jacqueline Potter, through whose guidance she learned to honor Pilates methodology in its original intent while making it accessible and practical for every body.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. George is known for her longstanding commitment to civic engagement and volunteerism. Since receiving specialized training to support vulnerable youth through creative expression, she has volunteered extensively with Free Arts Los Angeles (formerly Free Art for Abused Children), participating in art days for children in group homes and recreation centers. At Saint Anne School in Santa Monica and Wildwood School in Los Angeles, she dedicated thousands of hours supporting educational initiatives and was recognized by both institutions for her exemplary service. Ms. George also expanded the Victorious Vikings Day program — rewarding high-achieving students with professional sports experiences and community events designed to foster motivation and achievement among young learners — at her son's lower school.
Alongside her work at T.A.G. Pilates & More, Ms. George is an active member of SAG-AFTRA and Power-Ladies, reflecting her ongoing engagement with both the entertainment and professional women's communities. Her selection for Marquis Who's Who continues a family tradition of excellence — her mother, Brenda C. Holder, was previously recognized in Marquis Who's Who: American Women in Business and Finance. Her brother, Emanuel Holder, Jr. was recognized in Marquis Who's Who: American High School Students. Inspired by their strong examples, she values innovation and adaptability across all aspects of life.
Her multicultural heritage, rooted in her Caribbean ancestry from both Grenada and Trinidad & Tobago with Black, Portuguese, East Indian and Scandinavian lineage, has instilled in her a lifelong appreciation for travel and cultural exploration that she now shares with her son Reiland Bruskotter. Her son is pursuing Chemical and Environmental Engineering degrees at McKelvey School of Engineering - Washington University in St. Louis, and is currently conducting advanced environmental research at RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
Happily married to successful character actor Eric Bruskotter, Ms. George enjoys hiking, listening to audiobooks, traveling internationally and spending time at the beach with her family. Looking toward the future, Ms. George intends to help more Pilates businesses and fitness professionals achieve profitability by teaching essential business systems, marketing strategies, and foundational skills that certification programs consistently overlook. Her goal is to be a significant change agent in how Pilates is presented — ensuring that future instructors are equipped not only with the technical knowledge to serve their clients, but with the tools to build businesses worthy of the craft.
