Mr. Raveendradasan is the co-founder and chief executive officer of SECNORA®, a CREST-aligned cybersecurity and governance consultancy he established in 2018. Beginning as a one-person practice, SECNORA® has built a growing team across five countries — Estonia, Poland, Portugal, Australia and the United States — with an expanding base in Dallas. The firm serves clients in the critical-infrastructure, financial, government and technology sectors, with work spanning penetration testing and red teaming, governance and compliance, and AI and large language model security.

With more than a decade in the field, Mr. Raveendradasan has worked as a senior penetration testing engineer, security consultant and digital forensics and incident response specialist across the government, financial services, energy, telecommunications, retail and healthcare sectors. He served as a virtual chief information security officer (vCISO) for a European financial institution, building and leading its enterprise information security and IT risk management program.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a security researcher and penetration tester with a Kuala Lumpur–based consulting group, conducting penetration testing, source code reviews and forensic investigations for major banks across Europe, Asia and Africa. In Sri Lanka, he delivered security training for a national e-government network program and taught ethical hacking, web, network and wireless security at an information technology training institute. He has since delivered security training across Estonia, Portugal and Montenegro for government, banking and telecommunications audiences, and has presented at industry events, including an EC-Council security summit, Budapest Hacktivity.

Mr. Raveendradasan completed General Certificate of Education Advanced Level studies in biology, chemistry and physics at Jaffna Hindu College. He holds professional membership of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT (MBCS), and Certified Professional status in cybersecurity with the Australian Computer Society. He has earned nearly 65 industry certifications, among them the Certified Information Systems Auditor and Certified Information Security Manager (ISACA), the Licensed Penetration Tester (Master) and Certified Penetration Testing Professional (EC-Council), the CREST Practitioner Security Analyst, multiple more credentials and the ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor.

He maintains active membership in professional bodies including BCS, the Australian Computer Society, ISACA, OWASP, the High Technology Crime Investigation Association, the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists and the Estonian Atlantic Treaty Association (Eesti NATO Ühing). He serves on EC-Council's CPENT scheme committee and contributes as a researcher with the Vulnerability Lab. He is also active in civic life, volunteering with a human rights association in Estonia and contributing to NATO-related cybersecurity training initiatives.

He attributes much of his success to the support of his wife, Marily, his co-founder at SECNORA®, whose background in business administration proved instrumental during the company's formative years. Together, they navigated early challenges by leveraging their complementary skills while building both their family and business.

Born on a small island in Sri Lanka before relocating to Europe and later returning to the U.S., Mr. Raveendradasan's early experiences traveling for work exposed him to diverse cultures and business practices worldwide. These formative years taught him how to build trust within local business communities, a skill that proved invaluable when establishing himself professionally abroad.
