Phil La Susa: Energy & Environmental Leader, Strategist, Political Enthusiast, and Connector Phil is a Senior Vice President and National Business Development Deputy for TRC Companies, Inc., a global consulting, engineering and construction management firm. He is responsible for company strategy definition and execution, with accountability for all aspects of the overall business development, marketing and external relations of a $1+ billion oil, gas, utility and infrastructure business. As a visionary executive, he excels in steering large-scale projects that align with economic advancement and corporate growth.

Before joining TRC, Phil was the Assistant Vice President of Gas Strategy for Alliant Energy Corporation (NASDAQ: LNT), where he led gas operations support, and corporate-wide facilities, environmental and supply chain functions.

He currently serves as an Officer and Treasurer for the Society of Gas Lighting (a society of natural gas executives, founded in 1875), Emeritus Board Member for New Vision Dance Co., a Board Member of The Madison Symphony Orchestra and Caddis Tech, is a Senior Advisor for Flairsoft Ltd., and a Founder and Principal Advisor for Gateway Global Strategies. Phil previously has served on the advisory boards for Ohio FBLA, Southeastern Equipment Company, E.I.S., Prince Pipeline Integrity, ITS Environmental and as a board member for the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, New Vison Dance, Co. and INGAA Foundation.

Phil actively participates in the American Gas Association (AGA), Ohio Oil & Gas Association, Northeast Gas Association, Ohio Gas Association, Asian Indian Alliance, Midwest Energy Association, National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners, Edison Electrical Institute, Northeast Gas Association, Ohio Business Roundtable, New Albany Community Foundation, Women's Energy Network and the DC International Club. He was a founding member of The Ohio Water Partnership and Carolina Gas Coalition and previously served on the external advisory committees of the Ohio Department of Transportation's Carbon Reduction Strategy and Ohio's Broadband and 5G Sector Partnership.

While work has taken Phil globally to advise, consult, and develop energy and infrastructure initiatives, outside of work, Phil enjoys cooking, outdoors, and the arts. He grew up on his mother's family farm and his father's family immigrated to the United States from Sicily in the 1950's. His love of classical music, family and appreciation of nature were influenced by his grandfathers.

Phil received a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio and currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
