A respected leader in global real estate, architecture and workplace strategy, Ms. Stewart has built a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years. Known for her ability to bridge strategy and execution, she has led complex real estate portfolios, transformative workplace initiatives and global teams at some of the world's most prominent financial and technology institutions.

Since 2023, Ms. Stewart has served as Director and Head of Global Real Estate, Americas at IBM, where she is responsible for a portfolio encompassing approximately 20 million square feet of owned and leased space across the United States, Canada and Latin America. She oversees all aspects of portfolio strategy and operations, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, design and construction, facilities management, financial planning and workplace services. Leading multidisciplinary teams across the region, she collaborates closely with business leaders and external partners to deliver modern, sustainable and high-performing workplaces that support IBM's evolving business objectives.

Throughout her career, Ms. Stewart has distinguished herself through a combination of strategic vision, operational excellence and people-centered leadership. Prior to joining IBM, she served as Managing Director and Global Head of Real Estate at BNY, where she led the firm's worldwide real estate strategy from 2020 to 2023. Earlier, she spent more than a decade with JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Managing Director and Global Head of Client Management within the firm's Global Real Estate division, directing client engagement strategies and strengthening enterprise partnerships across a complex global portfolio.

One of the defining moments of Ms. Stewart's career came during the integration of Bear Stearns into JPMorgan Chase. As the first expatriate from Bear Stearns to join JPMorgan Chase in London, she was entrusted with completing the development of 5 Churchill Place during one of the most turbulent periods in modern financial history. Her leadership in delivering the landmark project amid the global financial crisis demonstrated her resilience, adaptability and ability to achieve results under extraordinary circumstances.

Ms. Stewart's foundation in real estate leadership was built during a 12-year tenure at Bear Stearns & Co., where she advanced through increasingly senior roles in design, construction and real estate management, ultimately serving as Managing Director. Earlier in her career, she worked as a project architect in Oxford, England. Her early experiences in England—including architectural studies at the internationally recognized Architectural Association in London and work as a project architect in Oxford—helped shape the global outlook that has become a hallmark of her leadership. The experience deepened her understanding of architecture, urbanism and design while providing an international perspective that would later influence her management of global real estate portfolios and diverse teams across multiple regions.

Beyond her executive responsibilities, Ms. Stewart is deeply committed to advancing the real estate profession and supporting the next generation of industry leaders. She serves as a board member and mentor for CREW New York, is an Executive Leadership Council member and mentor with CoreNet Global, and is active with the Urban Land Institute, Women in Finance at IBM and other professional organizations. Her longstanding commitment to mentorship and leadership development has made a lasting impact on emerging professionals across the industry.

Ms. Stewart earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate and holds both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America. She further enriched her architectural education through studies at Syracuse University's School of Architecture in Florence, Italy and has continued to invest in lifelong learning through executive leadership, sustainability, design thinking and artificial intelligence programs, reflecting her belief that continuous growth is essential to effective leadership.

Complementing her formal education, Ms. Stewart has earned certifications in executive leadership, environmental, social and governance data and reporting, trustworthy artificial intelligence and AI ethics, the Watsonx Challenge, and enterprise design thinking at both the practitioner and co-creator levels through IBM. She has also earned a mentor certification through CoreNet Global.

A strong advocate for community engagement and service, Ms. Stewart has supported numerous educational, professional and charitable organizations throughout her career. Her volunteer leadership includes service with Fordham University's Real Estate Institute Alumni Council, NYU Schack's Executive-in-Residence Program, Girls Inc., WX and Habitat for Humanity's Women Build initiative. She is passionate about creating opportunities for others and believes that meaningful leadership extends well beyond the workplace.

Her civic and community involvement includes co-chairing initiatives at Greenwich Country Day School, supporting fundraising efforts for Girls Inc. and WX, participating in Women in Finance at IBM, and maintaining membership in the Bedford Riding Lanes Association, reflecting her longstanding appreciation for conservation, stewardship and community engagement.
