There, he specialized in research and development for Acuvue contact lenses, focusing on diamond turning processes that would later define his professional trajectory.

Educationally, Mr. Johnson's foundation includes an associate degree in automation engineering technology/technician from Pennsylvania College of Technology, earned in 1996. His initial role at Vistakon introduced him to diamond turning, a field he quickly mastered through hands-on experience and continuous learning. Exposure to global markets and varied technical challenges during his time at Moore Nanotechnology Systems further shaped his expertise and broadened his perspective on innovation within the industry.
