PEARLAND, TX, July 17, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tayray Jasmine has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Jasmine has distinguished herself as a leader in healthcare administration and elder care, demonstrating a commitment to quality, outcomes and compassionate service throughout her career. Since 2010, she has owned Proverbial Care in Pearland, Texas, where she oversees residents' clinical status and satisfaction, delegates clinical tasks to caregivers, maintains compliance with state regulations, and ensures that all physicians' clinical orders are followed. Her responsibilities also include managing staff, overseeing operations, handling human resources functions, supervising billing processes, enhancing resident satisfaction, recruiting new staff, networking within the community and marketing the facilities. In 2018, Dr. Jasmine expanded her entrepreneurial reach by establishing Precisive Care Assisted Living I and II, where she continues to apply her expertise as both a registered nurse and executive leader.

Her transition from corporate healthcare to community-based elder care stands as her most notable achievement. After serving as director of nursing for the cardiovascular intensive medical unit at Houston Methodist Hospital from 2013 to 2017, Dr. Jasmine leveraged her clinical and administrative experience to build two thriving assisted living businesses—Proverbial Care and Precisive Care Assisted Living I and II. Over approximately 10 years, she has successfully managed all operational aspects of these communities while ensuring high standards of care for residents.

Dr. Jasmine's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her multifaceted career. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing administration from Capella University in 2007, following a Master of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Her foundational training began with an associate degree in nursing from Charity School of Nursing at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. These academic achievements have provided her with both clinical proficiency and advanced leadership skills, enabling her to excel in diverse roles across healthcare settings.

Her professional journey includes significant leadership positions such as District Director of Operational Support and Clinical Effectiveness at Harris County Hospital District (now Harris Health) from 2008 to 2010 and Chief of Clinical Health and Prevention at Harris County Public Health in 2006. From 2002 to 2005, she held dual roles as Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Genesis Specialty Hospital. Earlier in her career, Dr. Jasmine served as Administrator at MedMark Primary Care Clinic from 2001 to 2002 and as Chief Nursing Officer at Physicians Hospital from 1997 to 2001.

In addition to her executive roles, Dr. Jasmine is recognized for her contributions to academia. She has served as a Contributing Faculty Member at Walden University LLC from 2010 to 2022 and has held adjunct or contributing faculty appointments at the University of Phoenix, Capella University and Kaplan University. Her teaching portfolio spans nursing, finance and leadership courses—reflecting her broad expertise—and she is dedicated to mentoring women in their educational pursuits and professional advancement.

Dr. Jasmine's credentials include board certification as an Advanced Nurse Executive by the American Nurses Credentialing Center from 2015 to 2020 and board certification as a Cardiovascular Nurse from 2014 to 2019. She is also a registered nurse and a licensed pastor. Her commitment to professional development is further evidenced by memberships in organizations such as the Community Assistance Providers of Pearland, National Women of Achievers, American College of Healthcare Executives, American Nurses Association, Houston Organization for Nursing Leadership (formerly Houston Organization of Nurse Executives), Texas Organization for Nursing Leadership, National League for Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and Texas Nurses Association.

Her civic engagement includes serving as an educator with a local church organization since 2005 and volunteering with the Amateur Athletic Union in track and basketball alongside her husband. Dr. Jasmine's excellence has been recognized through several awards: Best Assisted Living in Pearland for Precisive Care in 2026; Best Nursing Home in Pearland for Proverbial Care in 2026; two-time Best Assisted Living honors for Proverbial Care; and Employee of the Month at West Jefferson Medical Center - LCMC Health in 1993.

As an author, Dr. Jasmine has contributed scholarly work, including "Art, Science, or Both? Keeping the Care in Nursing," published by Nursing Clinics of North America in 2009, and "Elderly Client's Perception of Caring Behaviors," which was published by Proquest in 2007.

Born in New Orleans, Dr. Jasmine relocated with her family to Texas following Hurricane Katrina in 2005—a pivotal event that shaped her personal journey. She has been married to Edward since 2001; together they have two sons who have actively supported her business ventures through volunteering and employment. As a new grandmother, Dr. Jasmine finds joy and grounding in family time. Both she and her husband are licensed pastors who remain deeply involved in ministry and their church community.

Outside her professional commitments, Dr. Jasmine enjoys reading, writing poetry and songs, hosting gatherings and parties and having game nights with family. Looking ahead, she intends to publish a book series on caring and compassion that explores what caring looks like and feels like from the perspective of care recipients—a project inspired by her dissertation work on perceptions of caring.

Dr. Jasmine attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family—particularly her husband, mother and sons—and believes that centering caring in all aspects of her work has been fundamental to her achievements as both a leader and caregiver. Her dedication continues to shape the landscape of elder care while inspiring those around her to pursue excellence grounded in compassion.
