SUNRISE BEACH, MO, August 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- K.C. Cloke has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For more than 20 years, Ms. Cloke has built a career defined by business leadership, economic development, marketing expertise and a steadfast commitment to strengthening the communities in the Lake of the Ozarks region of Central Missouri. Throughout each stage of her career, she has become known for bringing together business leaders, educators, elected officials and nonprofit organizations to develop collaborative solutions that create lasting community impact.
In 2025, Ms. Cloke transitioned from her career in chamber leadership to join her husband, Charles Cloke, as co-owner of Cloke Custom Homes in Sunrise Beach, bringing her extensive experience in business leadership, marketing and operations to the family's well-established custom home building company. Within the company, she oversees business operations, financial management, marketing, permitting, project administration and client communications. She also manages the documentation and administrative processes that provide homeowners with transparency and consistent communication throughout each phase of construction while helping guide the continued growth and visibility of the family-owned custom home building company.
Beyond her responsibilities within the business, Ms. Cloke has helped establish and grow the Lake of the Ozarks section of the Home Builders Association of Central Missouri. Working alongside industry professionals, she has focused on expanding collaboration among builders, subcontractors and suppliers while promoting professionalism, education and networking opportunities that strengthen the local construction industry.
Prior to joining Cloke Custom Homes, Ms. Cloke served as Executive Director of the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce from 2021 through 2025. During her tenure, she directed the organization's daily operations, managed community events and led initiatives supporting local business growth through advocacy, workforce development and community engagement. Among her most significant accomplishments was helping lead Camden and Morgan counties to achieve the nationally recognized Certified Work Ready Community designation—a multi-year collaborative effort that brought together business leaders, educators and public officials and was successfully completed despite the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, Ms. Cloke served as Executive Director of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce from 2016 to 2021. During that time, she oversaw numerous signature tourism and economic development events, including the Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals, the Midwest Wine and Brew Festival and the Lake of the Ozarks Mardi Gras Pub Crawl. She also introduced innovative programs designed to strengthen connections between businesses, schools and local residents, including Community Nights, a Business Academy, and a regional workforce roundtable summit that continues to foster relationships between employers and educators.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Cloke served as Marketing Director for First National Bank, now OakStar Bank, where she developed strategic marketing initiatives, managed multiple departmental budgets and coordinated the institution's senior travel program. Her professional foundation was established through hospitality leadership roles with Dogwood Hills Golf Resort and The Lodge of Four Seasons, where she developed expertise in client relations, marketing, sales and public engagement.
Throughout her career, Ms. Cloke has become widely recognized for her ability to build meaningful professional relationships and unite individuals around common goals. She helped establish the lake area's first chapter of Business Networking International (BNI) and has served on numerous advisory committees supporting workforce development, education and economic growth. Today, she continues that commitment by serving as a construction program advisor for the Lake Career & Technical Center, helping connect students with opportunities in the skilled trades.
Her dedication to community service extends well beyond her professional responsibilities. Since 2025, Ms. Cloke has served part-time as Event Coordinator and Staff Support at Riverview Baptist Church, where she assists with church events and community outreach initiatives. She has also participated in mission work in Maui, Hawaii, helping renovate church facilities and establish Vacation Bible School programming, while remaining active in numerous outreach projects serving families throughout the Lake of the Ozarks region.
Within the construction industry, she continues to volunteer her time through the Home Builders Association of Central Missouri, helping organize scholarship fundraising events, educational programming and regional initiatives such as the Parade of Homes designed to support local builders, skilled trades and workforce development.
Ms. Cloke's leadership has been recognized through numerous professional and community honors. Cloke Custom Homes was featured in the 2026 Best of the Lake edition of LAKE Lifestyles magazine and has received multiple regional awards for excellence in custom home construction, custom woodworking, and services as a general contractor. Individually, Ms. Cloke was named a finalist for the Lake of the Ozarks Regional Economic Development Council's Workforce Development Impact Award in 2024 and received the organization's Employee of the Year Award in 2022. In 2021, she was honored as the Lake Sun Readers' Choice No. 1 Volunteer in recognition of her extensive service to nonprofit organizations and community initiatives throughout the region.
Reflecting on her career, Ms. Cloke credits her success to a willingness to embrace new challenges, foster meaningful relationships and engage in conversations that encourage collaboration and positive change. She believes some of the greatest opportunities for growth emerge when individuals from different backgrounds come together with a shared commitment to improving their communities.
Looking ahead, Ms. Cloke plans to continue expanding Cloke Custom Homes while further investing in workforce development and construction education throughout Central Missouri. She hopes to create sustainable networking opportunities, scholarship fundraisers and industry events that inspire future generations to pursue careers in the skilled trades while strengthening the communities they call home.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Cloke enjoys traveling, serving alongside her church family and spending time with her husband, Charles, and their two children at their home in the Lake of the Ozarks.
