Ms. Muse has established herself as a leader in employment law, currently serving as a partner at Honigman LLP in Detroit, Michigan, a position she has held since 2021. Her responsibilities also include reviewing company policies and acting as an employment law specialist during mergers and acquisitions, where she assists corporate teams in completing significant deals.

Ms. Muse is particularly proud of her contributions to standardizing processes within her department and practice group. She played a pivotal role in developing procedures and forms that have streamlined operations, benefiting colleagues and expediting onboarding for new associates.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Muse was a labor and employment associate at Honigman LLP from 2016 to 2021. During this period, she honed her expertise in employment law, contributing to the firm's reputation for excellence in legal counsel. Her early association with the firm began as a summer associate in 2015, where she gained foundational experience that would shape her future career.

Ms. Muse's legal journey was further distinguished by her tenure as editor-in-chief of the Michigan State Law Review from 2015 to 2016. In this leadership role, she oversaw editorial operations and contributed to scholarly discourse on contemporary legal issues. Concurrently, she served as a teaching assistant at Michigan State University's College of Law from 2014 to 2016, supporting academic instruction and mentoring students.

Before her legal career, Ms. Muse's professional development included a judicial externship with the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in 2014, where she gained valuable insights into appellate court proceedings. Additionally, she completed an internship in rights and reproductions at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields from 2014 to 2015. She accumulated significant experience in the insurance industry with State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company as a fire personal lines underwriter and an underwriting service assistant, each for one year. Her initial exposure to litigation came through an internship in a division of State Farm's law team from 2006 to 2009.

Educationally, Ms. Muse's achievements have been instrumental in shaping her professional trajectory. She earned a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2016, complemented by coursework as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2009 to 2011 in pursuit of a Master of Music in flute performance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, which she completed in 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Music in music performance from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, awarded in 2009.

Mentorship has played a crucial role throughout Ms. Muse's career; she credits her success to invaluable mentors who helped her discover her strengths and passions within the legal field. Inspired by her mother's journey through law school during Ms. Muse's formative years and motivated by her own experiences reviewing insurance contracts at State Farm, she found her calling in law—a decision that proved pivotal for her career.

Ms. Muse has been actively engaged with several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Michigan since 2016 and the American Bar Association since 2013.
