Prior to acquiring Mezza Luna Pizza, Mr. Lo Presti managed Crosby Pizza Stop from 2021 to 2023. During this period, he was responsible for overseeing daily operations and supporting the business through changing market conditions. His expertise in catering was further honed during his earlier tenure as a chef at Villa Barone Manor and various other restaurants. Among his most significant achievements was his time at a prominent catering hall, where he worked closely with head chef Dino—formerly of the NBC commissary and Stouffer Hotel in White Plains. This experience provided Mr. Lo Presti with invaluable knowledge and skills that have shaped his approach to culinary management.

From 2008 to 2021, Mr. Lo Presti worked in the automotive sector as a wholesale buyer and car dealer. Over more than 10 years in this field, he achieved remarkable success, generating $30 million in sales at the peak of his career. He also operated his own business for eight years before this role, demonstrating sustained entrepreneurial acumen.

Mr. Lo Presti's professional journey began in kitchens at age 16, inspired by his upbringing in the restaurant business and early ventures as an entrepreneur selling fireworks as a teenager, even before earning his high school diploma After serving as a chef at several establishments—including Villa Barone Manor Catering—he left to start his own business before returning to cooking roles in Manhattan, Long Island, and at the Shelter Island Yacht Club. A diagnosis of severe carpal tunnel syndrome and several severe car accidents prompted him to shift careers temporarily; however, following recovery and encouragement from a friend during the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to restaurant management before ultimately acquiring Mezza Luna Pizza.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Lo Presti is committed to civic engagement as a donor to Fordham University and various Italian American associations. Though he struggled for a time with drug addiction and various other challenges, he is proud to have overcome his addiction and achieved his current successes.

In the upcoming years, Mr. Lo Presti aims to grow his business further by enhancing catering services and strengthening ties with the city of New York. He is actively updating Mezza Luna Pizza's menu to include halal options in response to demographic changes within the neighborhood, ensuring inclusivity for all patrons.
