From 2021 to 2024, Dr. Horn held the position of senior finance director at Mars, where he further honed his expertise in corporate finance within the consumer packaged goods industry. Among numerous other progressive and influential roles during his tenure in the industry, Dr. Horn worked for L'Oréal, beginning as a finance director, then as head of demand planning and, ultimately, as finance director, where he worked under the leadership of Ikdeep Singh and was part of a team that orchestrated a remarkable turnaround for a struggling business unit. By introducing new personnel, tools, and methodologies and improving demand forecasting processes, especially as e-commerce began reshaping consumer behavior, Dr. Horn enabled the team to achieve record sales and market share gains. The success culminated in promotions and rewards for all involved, underscoring his belief in the power of visionary leadership and collaborative effort.

Dr. Horn also held positions with Nestlé, including sales finance manager, project manager of SAP implementation, and finance manager, and Unilever, a London-based manufacturing company, where he progressed from a deduction analyst in 2004 to associate finance manager between 2010 and 2011. His international assignment in Mexico City with Unilever from 2009 to 2010 proved transformative both personally and professionally, broadening his perspective on cultural identity and accelerating his career trajectory. In addition to his corporate achievements, Dr. Horn has served as budget officer with the New Jersey Air National Guard. Dr. Horn's academic credentials are extensive. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and a Master of Business Administration in marketing, both from the University of Connecticut, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. He later completed an applied data science program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2023 before obtaining a Doctor of Business Administration in organizational leadership from Thomas Edison State University in 2026.
