Since October 2023, Ms. Verner has served as the director of sales and marketing at Martin Resource Management Corporation in Houston. She is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across marine fuels, lubricants and environmental services while contributing to broader strategic initiatives within the organization. Her work includes a particular focus on sustainable fuel and lubricant packaging and delivery, circular-economy principles and "well-to-wake" emissions-reduction strategies supporting the maritime industry's transition toward lower-carbon operations.

Prior to joining Martin Resource Management Corporation, Ms. Verner spent a decade progressing through increasingly senior international leadership positions with Ferguson Group and its successor organizations, ultimately Hoover Circular Solutions. Her roles included global development manager for fluid solutions, director-level leadership across Asia-Pacific and the Eastern Hemisphere, and vice president of sales and strategic accounts. Across these positions, she was responsible for international market development, sales strategy, P&L performance, strategic customer relationships, new product introduction and the development of sustainable chemical-packaging solutions.

Among her most significant accomplishments was leading the global development and deployment of an expanded fleet of specialized offshore chemical tanks. Drawing upon her technical understanding of chemicals, fluid management and offshore operations, Ms. Verner worked with technical and manufacturing teams to identify equipment requirements and introduce innovative designs aimed at improving safety and operational efficiency.

Within the first three months of this initiative, Ferguson Group committed approximately $6.85 million in capital investment to expand its chemical tank fleet. The investment contributed to a 50% increase in average tank daily rental rates and tank rental revenues exceeding budget by 30% during the first calendar year. Following the success of the initial program, a further $11.15 million investment was approved, bringing the overall capital commitment to approximately $18 million.

Her success led to a series of international assignments and promotions, including a relocation to Perth, Australia, to support the growth of the company's Asia-Pacific operations. While there, Ms. Verner helped develop a chemical storage and handling solution that centralized operations closer to the point of use, eliminating an approximately 2,000-mile round trip for each chemical tank delivery and collection while reducing associated transportation and carbon emissions.

Sustainability has become an increasingly significant theme throughout Ms. Verner's career. At Hoover Circular Solutions, she helped advance the organization's transition toward reusable chemical packaging and contributed to its broader sustainability strategy. Her work included the development of life-cycle assessments comparing reusable stainless-steel intermediate bulk containers with single-use packaging alternatives, as well as participation in the company's Sustainability Steering Committee and development of corporate sustainability objectives.

Her work has also helped customers quantify significant environmental benefits from transitioning toward reusable packaging systems. Projects she supported for major global chemical companies included solutions contributing to reductions of approximately 1 million kilograms of carbon dioxide in one initiative and more than 2 million kilograms of CO2-equivalent Global Warming Potential in another. These initiatives demonstrated how packaging strategy can simultaneously support operational requirements, commercial objectives and measurable environmental improvements.

Beyond her corporate leadership, Ms. Verner contributes her expertise to the wider industry through advisory work and professional thought leadership. In October 2024, she was appointed a Special Advisor to the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO). Her professional writing has also focused on sustainability and packaging strategy, including the publication of "The Importance of a Sustainable Packaging Strategy for Lubricants" in Lubes 'N' Greases in January 2025.

Ms. Verner earned a Bachelor of Science with Honors in microbiology from Glasgow Caledonian University, where she received the Undergraduate Microbiology Prize for Scholarship. She began her career with Schlumberger as a fracturing fluid technician, working on the development of seawater-based and high-temperature, high-pressure fracturing fluids for North Sea operations. This scientific and technical foundation would later inform her specialized understanding of chemical containment, transportation and fluid-management requirements.

Her early experience managing significant investments at Ferguson was pivotal in shaping her work ethic and commitment to excellence.
