Since 2022, she has served as a math teacher at Faith Lutheran Middle and High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she is responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing students' mastery of curriculum materials. Her high school students have the opportunity to earn college credits by completing her dual-credit classes.

In addition to her classroom responsibilities, Mrs. Anderson is the owner of Run the Numbers Tutoring, a training entity she founded. Through personalized online and in-person tutoring services "from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calc and beyond" she helps students build deep conceptual understanding rather than relying on rote memorization.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background of her own, Mrs. Anderson holds a Master of Science in Teaching and Curriculum of Mathematics from the University of Rochester, following a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the same institution. She earned Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum Laude honors. Her early participation in the Gifted Math Program at the University at Buffalo provided her with an exceptional understanding of mathematics, expanding both her passion for the subject and her natural aptitude.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Jen is actively involved in her community. She volunteers regularly with her church and works as a swimming official for high school competition in southern Nevada. She enjoys ringing handbells with Echoes of Faith, a community-based musical ensemble.
