ROCKBRIDGE, OH, August 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cassie Davis has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Davis, born in 1982 in southeastern Ohio, has established herself as a leader in business management and entrepreneurship, with a career defined by her commitment to social impact and ethical enterprise. Her professional journey is marked by a series of roles that reflect both her expertise and her dedication to community betterment.

Since 2016, Ms. Davis has served as founder and owner of Gifts That Give Back in Logan, Ohio. She manages operations across multiple storefronts located up to three hours apart in the state's primary tourist regions, including Hocking Hills and the Lake Erie shores. Operating primarily from her home office, she oversees day-to-day retail logistics such as inventory control, social media management, website updates, store design and product replenishment. A significant aspect of her role involves scouting and building partnerships with local and international artisan groups to provide dignified employment for individuals facing poverty or exploitation.

Under Ms. Davis's leadership, Gifts That Give Back has grown from a vendor market in her home featuring three artisan groups to a large annual vendor market, a mobile storefront, and two ethical retail storefronts supporting 146 nonprofit and artisan partnerships across 45 countries. The venture's unique structure as a limited liability company allows Ms. Davis to balance her professional responsibilities with family life while maintaining a strong capacity for social impact.

Ms. Davis is most proud of the enduring legacy created through Gifts That Give Back. Through these initiatives, she has helped relieve financial burdens for seven families pursuing adoption, provided essential aid to feed the hungry and house the homeless and disrupted cycles of generational poverty by offering dignified work opportunities. She credits these achievements to the collective efforts of the community supporting the markets and storefronts, recognizing that the full scope of this global and local impact extends beyond what she will witness in her lifetime.

In addition to her work with Gifts That Give Back, Ms. Davis works alongside her husband, Charlie, as the co-owner of Surface Tech Inc. A large subcontracting company operating in the greater Columbus area since 2009. This enterprise serves as her family's primary source of income and has allowed the work of Gifts That Give Back to come to fruition.

Ms. Davis's earlier career includes serving as an advanced medical technologist at Cardinal Health from 2013 to 2016, where she contributed clinical expertise within healthcare environments. For the preceding three years, she held the position of clinical sales associate II at Spectranetics under Philips Healthcare, where she combined technical knowledge with sales acumen in the medical device sector.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Davis was a technical educator in the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Fairfield Medical Center from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, from 2006 to 2008, she worked as a consultant for Cardiva Medical (now Haemonetics Corporation), lending her insights to product development and implementation within cardiovascular care.

Academically, Ms. Davis's background has been instrumental in shaping her multifaceted career. She earned a bachelor's degree in business management with honors from Ohio Christian University in 2009. Her education also includes an associate degree in radiologic technology from Washington State College of Ohio in 2005, where she graduated as valedictorian. She also holds an additional associate degree in science from Hocking College.

Ms. Davis's approach is deeply influenced by her Christian faith and conviction that meaningful change requires lived action rather than passive belief. Witnessing women in her community near Columbus being drawn into sex trafficking due to financial insecurity inspired Ms. Davis to focus on providing stable employment opportunities rather than isolated rescue efforts. Observing organizations dedicated to ethical employment, both locally and internationally, led her to adopt values-based purchasing habits—choices that ultimately evolved into founding Gifts That Give Back.

Overall, Ms. Davis attributes much of her success to a belief that people inherently want to help others but often lack accessible means to do so. By creating clear avenues for purposeful shopping through slogans such as "Shop with Purpose" and "Love Your Neighbor," she has empowered individuals to make small changes that collectively drive significant positive outcomes.

Outside her primary roles, Ms. Davis's civic engagement is extensive and reflects a lifelong commitment to service. Along with her global efforts she supports local homeless shelters and food pantries and works with SE Ohio Food Bank. She and her husband also personally sponsor children through Compassion International and World Vision International, and support the growth efforts of other non profits in the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Guatemala, further extending her impact beyond business into direct humanitarian support.

Ms. Davis is highly family-oriented and enjoys supporting her three children at hockey games and dance recitals. As avid boaters, she and her family take advantage of Ohio's warm-weather seasons by spending time on the water—including extended boating journeys—and engaging in outdoor activities together.

Looking ahead, Ms. Davis plans to continue growing Gifts That Give Back by adding additional storefronts and expanding the vendor market to reach more people in need of support. She is exploring ways to deepen assistance for adoptive families amid ongoing demand for safe homes for children and aims to enhance the organization's online presence for broader outreach nationwide. Additionally, she hopes to join the Fair Trade Federation as part of her ongoing commitment to ethical business practices. She encourages others to realize that how money is spent matters, changing the world by what one is buying and supporting.
