HOUSTON, TX, August 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sajal Javid has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who in recognition of her distinguished contributions to executive leadership, organizational strategy, human resources, and business transformation. Selection for Marquis Who's Who is based on professional achievement, leadership, visibility within one's field, and lasting contributions to industry and community.
For more than two decades, Javid has helped organizations solve one of their greatest challenges: building the human capacity to lead through complexity and change. A leadership strategist and executive advisor, she is known for partnering with chief executive officers, executive leadership teams, and boards of directors to strengthen leadership, navigate organizational change, improve workplace culture, and align people strategy with business objectives. Her work spans executive coaching, organizational development, workforce strategy, workplace investigations, change management, labor relations, and leadership effectiveness.
Since founding InclusivEdge Consulting LLC in 2023, Javid has served as a trusted executive advisor to nonprofit organizations, healthcare practices, and growing businesses seeking strategic leadership in organizational development and human capital. Through her consulting practice, she advises executives on leadership effectiveness, organizational design, employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, executive coaching, and building scalable people systems that support long-term organizational success. Her work helps leaders move beyond reactive problem-solving to build stronger organizational systems and practices that prepare their businesses for growth and change.
Prior to launching InclusivEdge Consulting, Javid served for eight years as Chief Human Resources & Culture Officer at Alley Theatre, one of the nation's premier nonprofit regional theatres. As the theatre's first Human Resources leader, she built the Human Resources function from the ground up and transformed it into a strategic business partner. She established the organization's people infrastructure, modernized policies and systems, strengthened employee relations, developed leadership capability, and became a trusted advisor to executive leadership during periods of significant organizational change across both union and non-union environments.
Javid's approach to leadership was shaped long before her executive career. She began her professional journey as a social worker and Child Protective Services Investigator with the New York City Administration for Children's Services, investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect while working alongside law enforcement, attorneys, health care professionals, and the court system. The experience sharpened her ability to assess credibility, navigate emotionally complex situations, make sound decisions under pressure, and understand the human dynamics that influence behavior.
Throughout her career, Javid has conducted well over a thousand workplace investigations, including complex and highly sensitive employee relations matters. Combined with her early career as a social worker and investigator, this experience gives her a distinctive lens into human behavior, conflict, organizational dynamics, and leadership under pressure. Her approach is grounded in careful listening, credibility assessment, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate difficult situations with both objectivity and humanity.
Earlier in her career, Javid held progressive leadership positions with Aramark, Chartwells Higher Education, Brooklyn Academy of Music, and MetroPCS, leading human resources and organizational initiatives across health care, hospitality, higher education, telecommunications, food service, and nonprofit organizations. Her experience across diverse industries has reinforced her belief that while business models may differ, the principles of effective leadership, organizational performance, and human behavior remain remarkably consistent.
Beyond her executive leadership, Javid has become a respected voice on leadership, organizational culture, human capacity, and the future of work. She has spoken for organizations including Columbia University, Yale University, Hacking HR, and numerous professional conferences, sharing practical insights that help leaders navigate an evolving workplace.
As artificial intelligence transforms how work is performed, Javid believes the greater leadership challenge is ensuring that human capacity evolves alongside technology. Her work explores how organizations can embrace innovation while strengthening the distinctly human capabilities—judgment, trust, adaptability, communication, and leadership—that ultimately drive organizational performance. She advises executives on integrating emerging technologies in ways that strengthen decision-making, improve organizational effectiveness, and enhance the employee experience.
Javid earned a Master of Social Work from Columbia University with a concentration in nonprofit management and the world of work, as well as a Master of Education in Training, Design, and Curriculum Development from the University of Central Oklahoma. She also holds bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Government from Kinnaird College and Criminal Justice from Oklahoma City University. She maintains the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation and is a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and Certified Predictive Index Analyst. She has also completed advanced professional development in executive coaching, emotional intelligence, motivational interviewing, and organizational development. Her commitment to lifelong learning reflects her belief that exceptional leadership requires continuous growth, curiosity, and the ability to adapt in an evolving world.
Drawing from her journey as an immigrant, social worker, investigator, executive leader, and entrepreneur, Javid brings a practical and deeply human perspective to leadership and organizational strategy. Her career has been shaped by working with people and organizations during moments of change, conflict, growth, and uncertainty—experiences that continue to inform how she advises leaders today.
Committed to leadership beyond the workplace, Javid has helped establish organizations that create opportunities for others. She is a founding partner and Executive Board Member of Women 4 Women, a Texas-based nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through entrepreneurship, leadership, civic engagement, and community service. She also founded the Texas Chapter of the Kinnaird College for Women National Alumni Association and serves as Board President, building a community that fosters alumni engagement, mentorship, and educational opportunities. In addition, she is a founding member of the Hacking HR Experts Council in Greater Houston and has served in leadership roles with the League of Resident Theatres' Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, SHRM, Happy HR Houston, and other professional organizations.
Javid is also a published author, contributing the chapter "What Took You So Long?" to the international bestselling anthology Six Figure Chicks: Houston, Vol. 3, where she reflects on leadership, resilience, reinvention, and the lessons learned throughout her professional journey.
Her contributions and the teams she has led have received numerous honors, including recognition as a Houston Business Journal Diversity Champion, the OnCon Icon Top 50 Human Resources Team Award, and a Best HR Department Award. These distinctions reflect not only her professional accomplishments but also her commitment to building organizations where leadership, culture, and performance work together to create lasting success.
Today, Javid continues advising organizations navigating growth, transformation, leadership transitions, and complex workplace challenges while expanding her work as a keynote speaker, leadership strategist, executive advisor, and writer on leadership, organizational culture, human capacity, and the future of work.
At the center of her work is a belief that organizations do not transform simply because strategies, technologies, or policies change. Sustainable transformation happens when leaders understand the people responsible for bringing those changes to life.
"You can change the strategy, the structure, and the technology. But if you don't understand the people inside the system, you haven't changed the organization." — Sajal Javid
