From 1995 to 1997, Ms. Bach served as director at Envirosite, where she founded environmental art groups, including C.A.I.R.N. and Envirosite, reflecting her commitment to art that engages directly with environmental concerns. Although these initiatives are currently on hold due to time constraints, she intends to revisit them when possible.

Ms. Bach's teaching experience includes serving as a teacher at Virginia Commonwealth University and as an artist-in-residence with Studio in a School Association in New York City. She also contributed as an artist and teacher in the Master of Fine Arts Visual Arts Program at Vermont College-Norwich University. Her academic involvement extended to lecturing on environmental art at the Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota in Duluth and at The Rear Window Gallery in Winchester, Virginia.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Women's Caucus for Art, the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition, and Praxis for Aesthetic Studies, organizations that support artists' visibility and advocacy within the field.

Among Ms. Bach's proudest achievements are museum exhibitions of her work and participation in public art initiatives such as Cow Parade, for which she painted two cows—one for Madison, Wisconsin, and another for New York City. Ms. Bach's educational background has played a pivotal role in shaping her artistic vision and persistence. She earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting and printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 1982 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in art from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1980—a distinction necessitated by the absence of a Bachelor of Fine Arts program at that time. In 1989, she completed a year of coursework through the Whitney Independent Study Program per the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.

A formative influence was a professor who recognized Ms. Bach's persistence during a life drawing class; this quality has remained central throughout her life. Art has been an integral part of Ms. Bach's identity since childhood, rather than a path chosen later.

Ms. Bach's civic involvement includes participation with local Park Slope and Windsor Terrace community groups as well as engagement with the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center. Her accolades include two fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (1993 and 1997), a stuido for use at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Massachusetts (1996), a fellowship from Kalani (1994), a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts (1994), a fellowship from Yaddo (1991), a Juror's Award presented by Jim Dine at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (1983) and an Artistic Achievement Award from the University of Wisconsin (1980).

Born in Richland Center, Ms. Bach maintains an active personal life centered around wellness practices such as yoga and meditation—activities that not only support her well-being but also inspire creative ideas like leaf bathing. Walking is another constant pursuit; she resides in a neighborhood conducive to an active lifestyle and frequently visits the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and her Brooklyn neighborhood for her own version of forest bathing.
