PENFIELD, NY, August 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Michelle Allen McIntire with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Ms. McIntire celebrates many years' experience in her professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. McIntire's distinguished career in music education and performance spans nearly four decades, marked by a profound commitment to student achievement and the transformative power of music. Since 1997, she has served as the owner of McIntire Studios, where she teaches voice and piano. For almost 30 years, she has guided students of all ages and backgrounds, fostering their musical growth and helping them discover personal meaning in their art. Her approach centers on teaching the individual rather than simply the music, meeting each student where they are and emphasizing ear training as a foundation for vocal development. She believes that, barring physiological limitations, anyone who can speak can learn to sing.

Ms. McIntire has also been deeply involved in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), serving in leadership roles at the chapter and regional levels. Her service has included president and auditions chair of the Kansas City Chapter, auditions registrar for the Central Region, and interim auditions coordinator for the Upstate New York Chapter. Through this work, she has helped administer and support adjudicated events serving hundreds of singers and voice teachers while contributing to the broader advancement of the vocal arts. Her students have also achieved distinction through NATS, including two national medalists in the NATS National Student Auditions.

Beyond her private studio, Ms. McIntire has built a wide-ranging career as a music educator, conductor and artistic director. Her work in Kansas City included serving as director of music at St. Teresa's Academy, where she shaped the school's choral program and supported students in a variety of musical and theatrical endeavors. She also taught general music at Académie Lafayette and served as director of choirs at Ward Parkway Presbyterian Church.

Ms. McIntire has held numerous artistic and choral leadership positions, including work with Canta Filia and the Kansas City Children's Choir at the University of Missouri–Kansas City's Community Academy. As artistic director of PerformOUTKC!, a youth member choir of GALA Choruses, she championed both artistic excellence and an inclusive environment for young singers. Earlier in her career, she served as artistic director of Crescendo: The Tampa Bay Women's Chorus in Tampa, Florida, promoting women's voices through choral performance.

Musical theatre has also been a significant part of Ms. McIntire's professional life. During her years in Kansas City, she was an active member of the area's musical theatre community, serving as a music director, vocal coach, keyboardist and collaborative musician for numerous productions. Her credits include work with The Barn Players, Summit Theatre Group, River City Community Players, Leawood Stage Company, the KC Fringe Festival and St. Teresa's Academy, on productions ranging from Grey Gardens, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Spamalot and The Addams Family to Chicago, Sweeney Todd, Curtains and Zombie Prom. Her theatrical work reflects the breadth of a career devoted not only to musical performance, but also to developing performers and bringing demanding theatrical scores to life.

As a performer herself, Ms. McIntire has appeared extensively in concert and stage settings, with performance experience spanning Florida, Kansas City and upstate New York. Her background as a vocalist, pianist, conductor and collaborative musician has informed a career in which performance and education have remained closely intertwined.

Ms. McIntire's educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in voice performance from Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida; a Master of Music in voice performance from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York; and a Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Missouri–Kansas City. She also holds professional teaching certificates in K-12 music education from both Florida and Missouri.
