In this capacity, Ms. Schneider oversees all daily operations from opening through closing, manages human resources functions, handles payroll, provides administrative support and assists in the classroom whenever needed.

In 2026, Ms. Schneider's expertise and commitment were recognized when she received the Distinguished Lutheran Early Childhood Administrator Award from the Lutheran Education Association, a national organization. Additionally, she is a member of the Lutheran Education Association, the National Association for the Education of Young Children and serves as a professional development specialist with the National Council of Early Childhood Education.

Before assuming her current role, Ms. Schneider was the school director at Primrose School of Ashburn in Ashburn, Virginia from 2013 to 2014. There, she contributed her knowledge of early childhood program management and continued to build on her reputation for excellence in educational leadership.

From 2008 to 2013, Ms. Schneider operated as a business consultant with S & S Consulting-Early Childhood Education in Ashburn, Virginia. In this position, she supported approximately 14 schools throughout the region, lending her expertise to improve their administrative processes and educational outcomes.

Ms. Schneider's earlier tenure as administrator and director at Open Arms Christian Child Development Center in Ashburn, Virginia lasted from 1999 to 2008. Her professional journey began in 1983 at a special needs home in Parma, Ohio. This formative experience provided her with valuable insights into supporting children with diverse needs and laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to education.

Throughout her career, Ms. Schneider has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in early childhood education and administration. Her longstanding service as a called worker within the Lutheran Church underscores her dedication to faith-based learning environments.

Ms. Schneider's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her professional achievements. She earned a Master of Education in educational administration from Concordia University Ann Arbor in 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in developmental and child psychology and physical education from Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio, graduating in 1987. In addition to her degrees, she is certified as a commissioned minister of religion in education by Concordia University Ann Arbor since 2004.

Beyond her primary roles in education, Ms. Schneider maintains active involvement with the Lutheran Church and has been recognized for her outstanding service with several honors. She was named Early Childhood Teacher of the Year by the Northern Illinois District in 2016 and has published poetry as well as contributed to anthologies during her college years.

Born in Cleveland, Ms. Schneider values time spent reading, gardening, playing mahjong and bunco, enjoying music and being outdoors. Looking ahead, she is focused on advancing her current ministry by expanding early childhood and Christian education opportunities within the Northbrook community.
