Ms. Soares has four years of professional experience. Her areas of expertise include self-teaching computer software, graphic design, photography, and foreign languages. She is responsible for various administrative duties, as well as meeting with clients, providing residential loans, and loan underwriting. The City of East Providence provides low interest loans and community development block grant funds.

She attributes her success to the knowledge and skills she received from her mentors. Ms. Soares is a member of the Rhode Island Honor Society, the National Community Development Association and the International Library of Photography.
