Prior to that role, he taught English at Delta International Language Schools in El Mansoura, Ad Daqahliyah, Egypt, from 1998 to 2004. There, he taught English language arts to advanced students and helped them develop proficiency in reading and writing.

Professor Badr's professional journey began as an English translator with Swiss Corner for Watches in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where he worked from 1993 to 1997. This early experience provided him with a strong foundation in cross-cultural communication that would later shape his career as an educator and consultant.

Beyond his professional roles, Professor Badr's membership in Toastmasters International since 2025 reflects his commitment to professional development and effective communication.

One of Professor Badr's proudest achievements is being the first member of his family to attend college and earn a master's degree. Raised by his mother as a single parent in modest circumstances, he overcame significant challenges to achieve academic and professional success.

Professor Badr earned a Master of Arts in English Literature from the College of Staten Island, City University of New York, in 2015. His graduate studies enabled him to develop curriculum and launch new academic programs during his tenure at the college. In 2005, he also earned an International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers from the University of Cambridge, which provided him with pedagogical skills essential for effective classroom instruction and educational leadership. His academic foundation began with a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Mansoura University in Egypt, which he received in 1993.

Reflecting on his career, Professor Badr credits much of his success to the unconditional love and support of his mother, whose encouragement guided him throughout his educational journey and professional advancement. He also attributes his achievements to a simple guiding principle: honesty and transparency. In his view, remaining true to these values enables individuals to achieve their goals while maintaining integrity.

Beyond his primary professional responsibilities, Professor Badr has contributed extensively through civic involvement and creative projects. He has served as an Arabic teacher at a mosque in the Stamford area and has volunteered by offering free Egyptian history and culture workshops at Greenwich Public Library. His excellence in teaching has been recognized through several Certificates of Appreciation from the USAID Program for Teachers. Additionally, he earned third place in chess at the City University of New York.

Professor Badr is also the author of *Writing My Way Home*, published in 2026. He has contributed to the Educational Technology in Schools Project Training and has presented interactive workshops on Egyptian culture and intercultural understanding at Rockford Area Middle School. In 2005, he also delivered presentations on global culture, Egyptian society, human relations, and world history at Melrose Area Public Schools.

In his personal life, Professor Badr is devoted to his family as the parent of three children. He enjoys playing chess, traveling—having visited 25 countries—reading, and going to the gym.
