As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Simpson has established a distinguished career spanning military leadership, safety and security management, and project oversight. In his current position within the Massachusetts Army National Guard as the Branch Chief for the United States Property and Fiscal Office, he manages the USPFO portion of the Organizational Inspection Program that inspects and assist subordinate units and ensures they remain compliant in the area of financial management and federal contracting.

He also serves as the Safety and Security Manager for Stellix Group, Inc., where he is responsible for providing safety statistics and documentation to customers, conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis, performing internal safety audits, overseeing training and documentation, responding to emergencies, reviewing and updating safety policies, ensuring ISO certifications and premier service provider compliance, implementing physical security systems and traveling between multiple facilities throughout New England and New York. In this role, he has been instrumental in maintaining rigorous safety standards and compliance across the organization's operations. His expertise in incident investigation, emergency response management and auditing has contributed significantly to the company's reputation as a premier service provider.

Before his tenure at Stellix, Mr. Simpson was a project manager with Liberty Construction specializing in concrete construction. He previously gained valuable experience as a field engineer with a construction company in Boston, Massachusetts, where he developed technical skills essential for managing complex projects. Earlier in his career, he served as site safety manager at another Boston-based construction company, further solidifying his background in workplace safety.

Mr. Simpson's professional journey also includes work as a security professional with ISA in Boston. Several key leadership roles mark his military service. As company commander of an infantry unit deployed to Afghanistan from 2011 to 2012, he led his unit through a yearlong mission without the loss of any personnel — an achievement he regards as his most significant. This milestone reflects the leadership and care he provided to his soldiers during a challenging deployment.

Following his command in Afghanistan, Mr. Simpson advanced to serve as operations officer at the G3 operations center for the Massachusetts Army National Guard. There, he helped establish combined training exercises to enhance operational skills for non-combat arms units preparing for deployments. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was appointed operations officer for Task Force Medical within Massachusetts. In this capacity, he oversaw mixed Army and Air Force teams conducting swabbing missions, augmenting long-term care facilities, supporting soldier homes and managing vaccine stations statewide.

Earlier military assignments include serving as a platoon leader for a cavalry unit in the Army National Guard in Kosovo from 2006 to 2007. Mr. Simpson's entrepreneurial experience includes co-ownership of an information technology business.

His academic foundation comprises a Bachelor of Science in Facilities and Environmental Engineering from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He received his commission as a military officer in the United States Army in 2005 while still completing his undergraduate studies. The combination of formal engineering education and early military leadership roles provided Mr. Simpson with both technical proficiency and practical leadership abilities that have shaped his career trajectory.

Mr. Simpson holds certification as a certified safety manager from the National Association of Safety Professionals. He actively seeks out continuing education opportunities to expand his knowledge base across diverse responsibilities. His commitment to excellence is rooted in taking pride in every aspect of his work and striving to perform at the highest level possible.

Throughout his career, Mr. Simpson has demonstrated expertise in military leadership, safety and security management, project management, incident investigation and root cause analysis, safety compliance and auditing, emergency response management and field engineering. Achieving such breadth of knowledge is a testament to his dedication to professional growth.

Beyond his professional duties, Mr. Simpson is civically engaged as an advisory board member for the Transformative Leadership Program at the University of New Haven. He has participated in the Boston Marathon road march for six to seven years to raise funds for the Military Science Foundation, marching with full military gear — reflecting his commitment to community service.
His exemplary service has been recognized through prestigious honors, including the Order of Saint Maurice, awarded by the United States Army in 2021, and the Bronze Star, earned in 2012.

Outside of work and civic involvement, Mr. Simpson maintains strong ties to his home region. His family is active in the business community; his sister and brother-in-law operate a pickleball business in Easton, Massachusetts, where he plays competitively in a league. Recreationally, he enjoys playing pickleball and supporting family endeavors.

Looking ahead, Mr. Simpson intends to progress into director or vice president roles within his organization while broadening responsibilities beyond safety and security into other business areas. He remains committed to expanding his expertise through further military education and advancement, as well as pursuing additional credentials, such as the Certified Safety Director certification, to complement his existing qualifications.
