Mr. Reckzeh has established himself as a leader in international business development and market expansion, with a career spanning several continents and industries. Since February 2024, he has served as the chief executive officer and chairman of the board at Schueller Furniture North America Inc., where he is responsible for driving sales, motivating and aligning his sales team, supporting marketing activities, overseeing product delivery and supply chain management, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
In addition, Mr. Reckzeh's role encompasses recruiting new talent, expanding his professional network, managing financial operations including accounting and budget tracking, maintaining regular communication with legal counsel in New York to optimize legal frameworks and contracts, and engaging with prospective high-level customers to increase visibility and grow the company's presence. His efforts are focused on bringing the success of the parent company in Germany into the United States market.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Reckzeh was director of international business development at Schüller Möbelwerk GmbH in Germany from 2021 to 2024. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in preparing for the launch of Schueller Furniture North America Inc., leveraging his expertise in market entry strategies and cross-border business growth.
From 2016 to 2020, Mr. Reckzeh held the position of sales director for the USA at Duni Group. He was tasked with establishing a new business operation from the ground up in the United States for the Swedish publicly traded company. His responsibilities included forming a corporation, hiring staff, setting up infrastructure, acquiring customers, and organizing the supply chain.
Between 2012 and 2016, Mr. Reckzeh served as a regional director for the Middle East and Africa at Duni Group. Based in Dubai, he was instrumental in developing business operations across the Middle East, Africa and India. This role marked a significant milestone in his career as he stepped outside Europe to build businesses in diverse market environments and cultures.
Mr. Reckzeh's previous roles include serving as marketing director for food takeaway solutions at Duni Group from 2011 to 2012 and as PM tabletop at Duni AB between 2005 and 2011. Before that, he worked at Duni BV — now deSter BV — in Belgium from 2004 to 2005. In 2002, Mr. Reckzeh began a two-year tenure at Beiersdorf AG.
Additionally, Mr. Reckzeh's international experience began even earlier with positions at Foote, Cone & Belding — now Omnicom — in Cape Town, South Africa from 2001 to 2002 and in New York City between 2000 and 2001. Throughout these roles, Mr. Reckzeh has demonstrated a consistent ability to adapt to new markets and drive organizational growth.
Mr. Reckzeh is widely recognized for his expertise in market development and international business expansion.
