Born in Tacoma Washington, Ms. Ryerson is married to Rick Ryerson, has raised 3 children but they have 7 children together. They also have 15 grandchildren. Her personal interests include skiing, horseback riding, camping, fly fishing, gardening, playing piano, knitting and sewing. She also plays competitive duplicate bridge and won National Open Pairs at an event in Las Vegas in 2003.
