CHICAGO, IL, September 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy Crook has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by significant leadership roles and transformative achievements, Ms. Crook's distinguished career in human resources (HR) and talent management spans two decades and counting. She is the founder, principal consultant and fractional chief talent officer of STRATIVIS — established in 2025 — where she provides consulting services to companies and leaders who seek to elevate their business and people practices and assemble high-performing teams. She is also actively developing innovative HR software to support her consulting work, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field through technology-driven solutions.

Establishing her own business stands as one of Ms. Crook's most rewarding professional milestones; this undertaking required her to master new skills such as website development, go-to-market strategy creation and product roadmap design, all areas outside of traditional human resources responsibilities that have allowed her to grow and serve more companies and individuals in need.

Prior to founding STRATIVIS, Ms. Crook held several pivotal positions at the leading job search platform Glassdoor. In 2025, she was the senior director of people, following her tenure as director of global talent from 2024 to 2025 and director of global talent acquisition from 2021 to 2024.

Ms. Crook's most notable achievement during this period was rebuilding Glassdoor's entire talent function after it had been dismantled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Facing a substantial hiring surge with no dedicated personnel, she expanded the team from two to 22 members and managed a planned workforce increase of 70%. This effort resulted in an approximately 400% improvement within the first month, representing a remarkable turnaround for the organization.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Crook excelled as the manager of technical talent acquisition at TransUnion in Chicago from 2018 to 2021 after serving as the senior lead for technical talent acquisition in 2018. Also recognized for her leadership accomplishments during this time, she designed and implemented new communication plans that allowed enhanced relations between hiring managers and employees and doubled the size of the company's information security function within 18 months.

Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Crook credits resilience as central to her success. Raised by a single mother who was a teenager at the time, she learned early on how to navigate adversity and develop a strong work ethic. She credits her mother for instilling in her many of the core values that continue to guide her approach to business challenges today.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Crook has contributed to civic causes as a member of the steering committee for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in Chicago. Her outstanding leadership has seen her recognized with several honors over the years, including the Talent Acquisition Award from Built in Chicago and the TA Leadership Award from Glassdoor.

Happily married and a proud bonus mother of three children, Ms. Crook enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, reading, watching National Football League games and engaging in various outdoor activities.

Determined to further her impact on people and companies alike in the coming years, Ms. Crook aims to continue building a highly successful fractional HR firm while developing an artificial intelligence tool to help her fellow HR professionals and executives assess organizational health and identify opportunities for positive intervention.
