VALLEY MILLS, TX, September 16, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kelvin Harrylall has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Harrylall currently serves as the president of Byford Machine-Tool Inc., a precision machine shop in Valley Mills, Texas, serving industries including oil and gas, aerospace, construction, heavy equipment and many more. Since assuming this role in January 2026, he has drawn on his background in manufacturing and automation sales to implement significant operational changes. Mr. Harrylall faced the challenge of limited capital, which most Independent Sponsors face, but overcame this challenge through extensive study of M&A and rigorous networking in order to obtain the resources necessary to complete the transaction. He ultimately acquired the business for just under $5 million after many years in pursuit of his dream. The company was generating $4 million in annual revenue and approximately $800,000 in earnings at acquisition. Within six months, Mr. Harrylall revised pricing strategies, re-engaged existing customers and expanded the client base, positioning the company to reach $8.5 million in revenue and approximately $1.2 million in EBITDA within the first year.
To address operational inefficiencies, Mr. Harrylall conducted recorded one-on-one interviews with every employee, first to understand team members individually, then to invite their questions. These conversations revealed persistent issues with material storage and tooling accessibility. Under Mr. Harrylall's direction, the team reorganized the shop floor, constructed a 100-by-36-foot awning for raw materials and established a dedicated tool crib. Many other areas for improvement were revealed and addressed including company culture, organization, systems, division of responsibilities, operating procedures and machinery upgrades, just to name a few. The integration of a software-based barcoding system is currently underway to streamline inventory tracking.
Apart from his work at Byford Machine-Tool Inc., Mr. Harrylall is the chief executive officer of Harrylall Industrial Holdings Group Inc., a company he founded in 2018. It serves as a U.S.-based manufacturing group that focuses on acquiring, growing and operating precision CNC machine shops nationwide. Through HIHG, Mr. Harrylall plans to acquire multiple machine shops, expanding the Byford name to a nationwide presence and with the end goal of being a publicly traded company.
Among other noteworthy professional opportunities, for over 14 years, Mr. Harrylall worked at Keyence Corporation, a worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of factory automation equipment. First hired by the organization in 2012, he worked his way up from a Sales Engineer to a Senior Sales engineer and, by 2019, a Sales Specialist. In 2020 he was promoted to Sales Manager where he oversaw a team of 6. During this period at Keyence, Mr. Harrylall deepened his technical knowledge of automation solutions and supported manufacturing companies with product implementation as they streamlined their processes.
From 2012 to 2026, Mr. Harrylall held sales territories in Northern California, Florida, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. He would visit 4-6 manufacturing company's every day for over 14 years, gaining a plethora of knowledge and boots on the ground experience in the American manufacturing world. This became the foundation for Mr. Harrylalls pursuit into ownership of his own manufacturing company.
Mr. Harrylall earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Robotics and a Minor in Mathematics from Florida International University in Miami. He furthered his expertise by completing a certificate program in financial planning and services at Boston University and holds the certified merger and acquisition advisor credential.
Active in his professional community, Mr. Harrylall has been a member of several industry organizations, including the National Tooling and Machining Association and the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. In addition to his business pursuits, Mr. Harrylall was a former amateur boxer, is an avid runner who has run a half marathon every month for almost 5 years (he is on half marathon number 56 as the time of this article). He also gives back to his community by teaching boxing to younger amateur fighters and helping them link the work ethic involved with training to the work ethic involved with being successful in school, work and in life.
The path that led Mr. Harrylall into his current profession began with self-reflection following a pivotal moment in amateur boxing, which prompted him to reconsider his career trajectory while employed at Keyence Corporation in 2014. Realizing that traditional corporate roles did not align with his aspirations, he explored various entrepreneurial ventures before discovering business acquisition as a viable path to success.
Mr. Harrylall's credits his success to laser beam like focus on his goals and consistently taking action even in the face of defeat and setbacks. Throughout his years of studying how to achieve success he has come up with a blueprint anyone can adopt to achieve what they want out of their life. Mr. Harrylall calls it Success Theory, which simply states you get what you consistently focus on. It is centered around creating a vision for one's life in 7 core areas, personality, love, wealth, career, social, spirituality and interests, focusing the mind on these goals and taking small consistent steps towards the obtainment of the vision. It is the exact methodology Mr. Harrylall has used to create the successes in his life, and he believes everyone has this ability as well.
