ALLEN PARK, MI, September 17, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stephen Casey has been recognized for achievement and leadership in industrial automation.

Mr. Casey currently serves as Manager of Project Management at Fives Cinetic Corp., a position he assumed in 2026. In this capacity, he leads project management activities supporting complex industrial automation programs and works closely with his team to align strategy, assess resource requirements, identify and escalate risks, and resolve operational challenges. He provides leadership and guidance to ensure projects remain aligned with customer commitments for quality, budget and schedule.

In addition to overseeing project execution, Mr. Casey develops templates, tools, systems and processes designed to strengthen project management practices and promote continuous improvement throughout the organization. Drawing upon experience spanning technical engineering, project and program management, PMO development and operations, he works to establish practical systems that improve visibility, accountability and consistency across project delivery.

Prior to joining Fives, Mr. Casey spent nearly 14 years advancing within the same industrial automation organization as it evolved through acquisitions and rebrandings. He joined Spectrum Engineering Solutions Inc. in 2012, beginning his career in robotics programming and controls engineering. His early work involved the programming and integration of robotics, programmable logic controllers, human-machine interfaces, safety systems and other technologies used in automated manufacturing environments. His technical experience included work with FANUC, ABB and KUKA robotics, as well as Allen-Bradley, Siemens and other industrial control platforms.

Spectrum Engineering Solutions was acquired by M+W Group in 2012. In 2014, ATS Automation acquired the business from M+W, after which the organization operated under the PA Solutions – Automotive North America brand. Despite these changes in ownership and identity, Mr. Casey remained with the same underlying organization and continued advancing into positions of increasing technical, managerial and business responsibility.

By 2013, Mr. Casey had moved into automation management, where his responsibilities included oversight of more than 30 automation engineering personnel across hardware, software and robotics disciplines. His work also encompassed engineering quality, training, personnel development, hiring and onboarding, as well as sales and financial responsibilities supporting automotive manufacturing operations.

As his career progressed, Mr. Casey transitioned increasingly into project and program management while retaining the technical foundation developed during his earlier engineering career. He managed multidisciplinary teams responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, integration and installation of turnkey industrial automation systems for major automotive and manufacturing customers. His responsibilities expanded to encompass budgeting, scheduling, procurement, resource coordination, risk management, customer relationships, change management and overall system delivery.

In December 2019, Mr. Casey was promoted to Senior Project Manager, assuming broader responsibility for increasingly complex automation programs. His project leadership experience included turnkey integrated manufacturing system installations valued in the tens of millions of dollars, with responsibility for delivering customer requirements within established budget, schedule and technical commitments. His work also required establishing project baselines and communicating project status, changes, key performance indicators and other program metrics to organizational stakeholders.

Throughout this period, Mr. Casey contributed to major automation programs across the automotive manufacturing industry. His responsibilities evolved from hands-on programming and integration early in his career to leadership of complete multidisciplinary system launches involving engineering, manufacturing, installation and customer teams. This combination of technical knowledge and project leadership allowed him to understand both the engineering details of an automation system and the broader business requirements necessary to successfully deliver it.

In January 2023, Mr. Casey was promoted to Director of the Project Management Office, marking the culmination of more than a decade of advancement within the organization. In this position, he achieved one of his most significant professional milestones by transforming a previously decentralized group of individual project managers into a cohesive project management office.

Mr. Casey established standardized governance, processes, tools and communication practices while developing a unified identity for the PMO. His efforts enabled project managers to operate more collaboratively rather than as isolated project leaders and provided greater consistency, accountability and visibility across project execution. The transformation also strengthened the organization's ability to identify and manage risk, escalate issues, communicate project performance and maintain disciplined execution across its portfolio.

In 2025, PA Solutions – Automotive North America transitioned to the Orise brand. Mr. Casey continued leading the Project Management Office through this transition until departing the organization in 2026 to join Fives Cinetic Corp. His nearly 14-year tenure represents a continuous progression from hands-on robotics and controls engineering through automation management, project and program leadership, and ultimately leadership of the organization's project management function.

In addition to his industry roles, Mr. Casey contributed to the development of future automation professionals as an instructor at ECPI University. In 2017, he instructed a KUKA KRC-4 robotics certification course hosted by the university, allowing him to share practical knowledge and industry experience with students preparing for technical careers.

Mr. Casey's professional development has been shaped largely by hands-on industry experience, technical training and continuous self-directed learning. He earned his General Educational Development diploma through Marygrove College in Detroit in 2012 and later pursued coursework in business administration and management at ECPI University.

Throughout his career, Mr. Casey has continued expanding his technical and leadership capabilities through specialized training and practical experience. His technical credentials include Robotics Programming I through KUKA, along with specialized training in Siemens TIA Portal programming and BMW's Smart Automation Suite.

Mr. Casey attributes his career progression to persistence, ambition, relationship building and a commitment to continuous learning. Beginning with an opportunity at the technical level of the automation industry, he consistently sought greater responsibility and developed the technical, business and leadership capabilities necessary to advance. Rather than allowing an unconventional educational path or circumstances early in life to define the limits of his career, he focused on practical experience, professional relationships, self-directed education and a willingness to take on increasingly difficult challenges.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Casey has demonstrated civic engagement through volunteer work with local churches and various community movements, contributing his time and talents to music, children's ministry and other service initiatives.

In his personal life, Mr. Casey enjoys spending time with his partner, Barbara, and their four children. He also enjoys being outdoors, singing, playing drums, guitar and piano, as well as recording music. Family remains an important focus in his life, and he looks forward to continuing to pursue their personal and family goals together.

Looking ahead, Mr. Casey intends to continue developing as a leader in industrial automation, project management and operations. He is pursuing Project Management Professional certification through the Project Management Institute and has taken a particular interest in the practical application of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, within project management and industrial operations.

Mr. Casey's journey stands as a testament to perseverance, adaptability and continuous self-development. Through hands-on experience, technical expertise and an unwavering commitment to growth, he has progressed from the automation floor to leadership in project management and operations, establishing himself as a respected leader in his profession.
