She has led major procure-to-pay initiatives involving platforms such as Coupa and Zip, encompassing system evaluation, workflow and approval design, implementation, integration and organization-wide adoption. Her work has helped transform procurement technology from an administrative tool into a strategic capability that strengthens governance, enhances spend visibility and supports better business decision-making.

More recently, Ms. Lorilla has focused on the emerging role of artificial intelligence in procurement. She is exploring and implementing AI-enabled workflows and automation designed to reduce repetitive administrative work, streamline procurement processes and enable teams to devote more time to strategic priorities. Building on her extensive experience in procurement transformation, Ms. Lorilla founded CHL Bay Solutions, an independent consulting practice focused on helping organizations strengthen procurement operations and maximize the value of procurement technology. Through her practice, she advises companies on procurement strategy, process optimization, systems and workflow design, drawing on her experience implementing and optimizing enterprise procurement solutions.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Lorilla held contract administration and vendor management roles at Macy's, supporting e-commerce and other business functions. This experience established a strong foundation in contract management, supplier relationships and procurement operations. She later joined Twilio Inc., where she expanded her expertise in procurement operations and Coupa administration during a period of rapid company growth, helping develop scalable processes and infrastructure to support the organization's evolving needs. Together, these experiences laid the foundation for her specialization in procurement transformation and technology.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lorilla has distinguished herself through her ability to connect people, processes and technology. She has helped build procurement functions and operating models that enable teams to move beyond transactional purchasing and become strategic partners to the business. Ms. Lorilla holds a Master of Public Administration in nonprofit, public and organizational management from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley. During her undergraduate studies, she also participated in a study abroad program at National Taiwan University in Taipei.

Her professional development includes certifications and specialized training in procurement technology and project management, including Zip Admin Fundamentals, Coupa certification and a project management program through Cornell University.

Raised in San Diego, California, as a first-generation American by a single mother, she developed independence and resilience at an early age. Despite financial and personal challenges, she pursued higher education and earned admission to the University of California, Berkeley.

After graduating, Ms. Lorilla returned to Southern California due to family circumstances and began her professional career as a contract assistant. What started as an introduction to contract administration ultimately developed into a career spanning procurement operations, technology and transformation. While working full time, she continued her education and earned her master's degree, supported along the way by mentors whose guidance helped shape her professional development and leadership philosophy.
