In 2025, she assumed the role of project manager at the automation machinery manufacturing leader Control Technologies, LLC, where she is overseeing 18 concurrent projects collectively worth over $10 million. Additionally, she organizes project data and master schedules for executive review, leads weekly team meetings with internal engineers and provides customers with weekly updates to maintain regular and concise communication.

Prior to joining Control Technologies, Mrs. Fenlon spent two years as an engineering program manager at Ingersoll Rand in Davidson, North Carolina. Utilizing her leadership skills to streamline project execution and align schedules and budgets, she went on to make a significant impact on several of the company's product launch initiatives.

From 2020 to 2023, Mrs. Fenlon worked as a project manager at CommScope, overseeing several large capital projects totaling $108M across infrastructure, logistics and line installations. It was during this period that she experienced genuine professional respect for the first time, which fundamentally transformed her perspective on career advancement. Previously, she had allowed disrespect to go unchallenged and did not actively seek growth opportunities as a result; the positive environment she experienced at CommScope inspired her to adopt a more proactive approach toward her professional development, allowing her to focus on advancement and embrace new challenges.

Mrs. Fenlon's earlier roles include serving as a project manager at Osgood Industries, LLC (Syntegon) in Oldsmar, Florida, from 2019 to 2020, which allowed her to manage various technical projects and collaborate closely with site acceptance testing teams.

From 2013 to 2018, Mrs. Fenlon held the position of project manager at Doosan Bobcat in Statesville for four years, where she spearheaded development lifecycles and ensured that project goals were aligned across multiple locations.

Mrs. Fenlon's journey also saw her working in roles as a contract research and development engineer for the leading mattress manufacturer Sealy from 2012 to 2013 — during which she secured a patent for her innovative heated and air conditioned mattresses.

Earlier in her career, Mrs. Fenlon was employed as a manufacturing engineer at Machine Specialties Inc. and as an office engineer at Bryant Contracting Inc. She also served as a contract supplier quality manager at Siemens VDO in Newport News and as a manufacturing engineer at Alcoa in Hampton VA, gaining invaluable experience in system quality verification, problem solving and compliance matters.

Mrs. Fenlon began her professional journey with four years as an engineering technician at The Timken Company Research and Development facility in the Canton, OH area starting in 1999. Displaying her leadership skills right from the start, she was responsible for training employees in best company practices and oversaw materials processing and analysis for various automotive assembly projects.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mrs. Fenlon started her higher education at Stark State College, earning an Associate of Applied Science in mechanical engineering and technology in 2000. Building on this foundation, she completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in mechanical engineering at The University of Akron in 2002 as well as a Master of Business Administration with a focus on project management at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2011.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous learning, Mrs. Fenlon is certified as a project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute and completed the Taking Ownership in Your Career course through LinkedIn Learning in 2023.

Inspired by her father who taught her to work on cars during her teenage years, Mrs. Fenlon developed a strong mechanical aptitude from an early age. Although she considered following in her brother's footsteps as a machinist, his encouragement led her to pursue higher education, laying the groundwork for her own career in manufacturing and project management.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Mrs. Fenlon is engaged in volunteer efforts with a bird sanctuary organization, demonstrating her passion for animal welfare and environmental stewardship.
