With 38 years of experience in her field, Ms. Cooper is skilled in art and art instruction. Her expertise is in painting porcelain in European and American styles, applying gold to porcelain, and teaching these techniques, and others, to students. Parish Porcelain is a fine art studio that provides education in porcelain and porcelain painting. Ms. Cooper has published many articles and is currently working on a book.
Ms. Cooper received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Wayne State University in 1970 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Studies from Nyack College, which she earned in 1969. She is a member of International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, as well as the Professional Porcelain Artists Association and the World Organization of China Painters.
